I need to drop from club Champs due to some illness in my family.
I already informed nexus, so if anyone on the waiting list wants my spot go for it.
Best of luck to everyone

I have not gotten in to nexus to get the new tourney rules and probably wont until day of is this an issue? do you mean chapter approved? If so not a problem as the missions will still be printed out for everyone. The secondaries changed quite a bit though, so I'd familiarize yourself with those before you start rolling dice.

I went and printed off a cheat sheet with all the secondaries on it. So if you don't have CA, you'll have your own set, I printed off 26 copies so should be enough for everyone.

Hey folks! Best of luck to the participants tomorrow, the new missions look like a lot of fun.
Maybe next year I'll actually have 2000 points painted lol, but I'm the slowest hobbiest ever so we'll see.

We have to be fully painted right? That's a thing?

- Trophies are at nexus (even though when I showed up today one didn't come in and I had to get another one made this afternoon!)
- 10 of the tables are set up (with the rest to be set up in the morning - cuz MTG tonight)
- all the printing is done and ready to go
- Big thanks to Kevin and Jordan for bringing in some extra terrain so we can have nice setups for all the tables (and still have plenty left over for the morning setup too!)
Some reminders:
- Your painting score needs to be brought in by YOU in the morning of day one. You will be asked what your score is. Please have your sheet filled out and ready just in case I need to check it. If you gave yourself a perfect score for example, I might have some questions. If your score is wildly different from what I see on the table when I'm walking around, I again will have questions. This system requires alot of honor system involved, but I will be certainly looking at the armies as well and paying attention.
- You will be given a sheet to rank your opponents for the day 1/2/3 for painting and sportsmanship. Pay attention to the names of those you play throughout the day. Having 20 people come up to the front while we're trying to run the tourney and asking who they played round 2 is going to be a problem. Don't be the problem.
- As this is a fully painted tournament, if your opponent puts an unpainted model on the table, remind them to pick it up as it cannot be played. If this is an issue, please come get me and I'll enforce, but do not wait until after the game as there is nothing I can do about it then.
- If there is an issue at the table, be it questions, arbitrating rules, behaviour what have you. Come get me. Even if I'm playing (if we're odd numbers) my #1 role is T.O. so just come over an interrupt. It's okay. I play super fast. (when I'm not trying to play GSC lol)
- When your game is done, bring your score sheet to the front right away (before putting away models or anything else) so we can enter the information as quickly as possible and keep the schedule for rounds. Your one score sheet does hold up all matchups as we can't even begin to start the process until all scores are in (as there's alot of manual checking involved).
- bring everything you need to play. Including a pen and a tape measure!
- bring a CLEAR, TYPED copy of your list to show your opponent as needed. They should not be expected to look at your phone or having to try and decipher your handwriting.

Just double checking, for the painting score do we need to list what parts we got for each category or just the total?

you have to give the total number when you check in... however you should have your sheet with you in case I need to confirm the score.
