I'm pretty excited for two tournaments in a month. I appreciate everyone waiting until my moving was finished. Life has been a hectic mess since mid december. Now I get to forget it all (sorry to my wife) and focus on what's important!

Good luck to attendees! I'll be out of town at hot lead so won't be able to make this one

Ooo this sounds awesome! Anyone have an idea how this will go for someone who has never played before but has watched many a battle rep?

Ooo this sounds awesome! Anyone have an idea how this will go for someone who has never played before but has watched many a battle rep? Well as the tourney organizer I can say I'm super, super casual with AOS... outside of a league or a tournament I almost never play AOS (I really like the game, my time is severely limited these days). My tournies are new player friendly - can be your first game, that's all good! Also all my tournaments have draw prizing - you can lose every game and walk out with the biggest prize on the table as they're all draws. This also means there's no real incentive to playing a "meta list" to stomp opponents. We're trying to build up the AOS community locally, so new players are exactly who we want to be there having fun!

I'm normally a pretty competitive person when it comes to list building (I need some edge from lack of experience!) but I may be bringing a lulzy OBR list to the event... if I can finish my centerpiece.
Also, I may have convinced my partner to join their first event. Go gitz!

I might bring OBR to this one... simply because I've almost built it and I've never played it.
I am not very competitive lol
