Name: Znart, Big-Little Boss of Belosia
Background: Znart poked through the wreckage of yet another empty building. A threadbare scrap of heavy tapestry wrapped around his shoulders to ward off the cold; in his mind it was the grand cape of a king. Mostly he was just disturbing the dust or causing whatever he touched to crumble. This place had been long abandoned. Being the educated goblin that he was, he surmised the name to be as he saw on a weather-worn engraving at one of the outer gates upon arrival - bee-LOW-see-YA. Which of course to him meant great buried treasure. He had yet to find the treasure, but the rats had sure been tasty.
The place grew on him, the longer he stayed. To a detached, outside observer, it would be clear the cursed city was affecting his already tenuous grasp on sanity. He was affected to such an extent that the rubble piles were to him majestic homes, the cracked and parched earth vibrant gardens, the dust devils swirling down the empty streets his loyal goblin servants and attendants and he, Znart, was lord of it all.
He set down his crystal goblet (rock), parted the velvet curtains (lichen overgrowth) to step onto his grand balcony (precariously balanced wall slab). He spied movement across his royal gardens (stagnant cesspool in a sinkhole). The enemy had infiltrated! He would have the heads of his sentries! Why had his Captain not summoned the Guard?
Wait. Just a single rider. He unlimbered his axe. Once in hand clarity returned for a brief moment, then was lost. No...more than one. Coming from all directions. He would defend his grand city. Lead his mighty host from the front. He prepared to unleash a roar...
A hairy, taloned leg cracked down beside him, then another. He turned his head to stare into the maw on an insectoid horror... then punched it in its multi-faceted eye. "Steve!" Znart exclaimed as he sat down beside his trusty mount. It dropped the web-wrapped tiny desert lizard it had caught for their shared lunch and plopped down contentedly beside Znart. The great defense of Belosia was momentarily forgotten.

Name: Kaladar Dragneel
Kaladar was born to a peaceful northern tribe. Ever since he could remember he had, had this mark on his forehead. The seer of his tribe would not see children of the tribe before the age of 10. So at the age of ten he was taken to the seer of the tribe. The seer walked up to him and touched the mark and fell over starting to convulse. The mark opens to an eye looking about. The seer start to yell out that Kalardar is marked by evil and will end up causing harm to everyone for the god Tzeetch. The the seer passes out, at the same time the eye on the middle of his head closes. When the seer wakes up, he remembers none of what happened, but Kaladar did. He left the tribe as soon as he could.
Years passed, over those years Kaladar tried to get the mark off his head, but no one could do it and pain only happened to those who tried. He ended up trying to kill him self, but he couldn't. He tried to have other kill him but none could.
Kaladar then had the idea to become a better fighter, so he could challenge great heroes who could finally kill him and stop what ever Tzeetch had planed for him. Now he had killed many heroes in his quest to find one powerful enough to kill him. He was even able to get a Daemonic creature to ride, this creature would ensure that heroes would also seek him out to destroy the evil he was and what he rode.
Now he hears of this cursed city that many new heroes and adventurers are on their way discover. He will head there and challenge any heroes that are there, in hopes that one may be able to kill him.

So we're halfway there... 8 characters minimum to run the arena (16 gives a more complete arena, but we can certainly move forward with 8)

oh and for Zart, i was going thought army builder and putting in everyone's characters, and why didn't you pick the gigantic spider over the giant spider, you get an extra to your armour save and he has two more attacks.
unless army builder is wroung (i dont have he book) they have been before. But just wondering not that i want your guy to get better lol but 2+ armour is better then 3+ lol

wow frank, was looking at your char, at first you think no ward save, but the combo of the nightshroud and the dawnstone, is crazy. 1+ rerollable armour save is crazy when people don't get bonuses to str. the highest is what str 5, so 3+ rerollable armour save or better. pretty hard to beat. unless someone ignores armour lol

:-) armour . It is interesting as a strategy game. Do you go real high strength easier to wound limit armours effectiveness, go killing blow, multi wounds etc. Then defensivly how can i get 1 plus reroll armour and a ward save. I love this because i don't play so many armies. Was really cool to see that goblin build. He is a nasty little piece of wok. Frank well he cold likely make a decent wood elf combatant, well maybe that is a strech :-).

so i dont plan to make it past round 1 but you never know it could happen. also the back story is very good Tomb king 275 Magic items: Weapon: Destroyer of Eternities Amour: glittering scales The dark prince: The dark prince was out cast by Priest king Akhmen-Hotep in the 62nd year of Qu’ aph the cunning. The dark prince wondered for days in the desert until one day he stumbled across a war camp of Nagash the undying king of Khemri. He told Nagash all of war plans that the king of Ka-sabar was bringing against him. Years past and stuff happened and now the dark prince is an immortal and doing as he is told by his masters. The end

:-) Frank well he cold likely make a decent wood elf combatant, well maybe that is a strech :-). The best WE combatant is one that stands on the arrow riddled corpse of his foe.
