Thanks! I’m happy with my progress too. I’m finding completing each unit to the same level before moving on has worked well for me. I chose not to go too detailed on the white as I will be doing a heavy amount of chipping (dark brown, dark orange and dark metallic) as well as lots of blood splatter and a brown wash on the feet/lower legs. I figured most of the work would get hidden but I really like that recipe/method you suggested and will probably try it for my Deathwing in my next army.

Word, I do all of the white in my Thousand Sons that way, bone first, then an edge highlight of white. It really looks striking on the tabletop as the white edge makes it all look lighter, but with depth that you can't get with just white.
I'm anxiously awaiting the finished product!
