And here's somebody who had done to the W-Fest doing a review of the stuff along with a bunch of impressions/tips. Not much use to me but that might change if and when I start an army that isn't supposed to be varying types of solid metal.

This stuff looks cool. If it can work as advertised, it would be a big help.

It's probably going to be the most useful in surfaces with lots of rises, dips, crevices and so on that you normally need three or four different shades, highlights, drybrushes etc to get a good effect.
Though has there been any mention of when the stuff is hitting the shelves? Because I took a look around the online store etc and there's no sign of the stuff.

That's true. Even things like nuln oil don't do much on a flat surface.
I actually haven't heard of a release window. Well, not yet anyway.

In relation to the new paints being released, apparently at least some of GW's paint lines are being discontinued/repackaged.

I mean it's discontinued/repackaged, so not everything on that list is getting the axe. Might just be a rebranding

This is very much an 'in-progress' event with a bit more info from the original poster:
So far the only things that seem to be disappearing in totality are the glaze paints. Guess I need to grab some more Waywatcher's green as backup.
