How is Legion anyway? Does it have dials and cards and such like X-Wing and Armada have? Legion has proprietary dice; movement and range templates; unit cards and upgrade cards. Each unit also has an activation token. These are used in a couple ways to determine which unit can or will go and to show that they have activated this turn. Each player has a hand of seven cards which are used to determine who goes first during the beginning of each turn. There are no movement dials like X-Wing.

How is Legion anyway? Does it have dials and cards and such like X-Wing and Armada have? Not played it yet, but lots of tokens like xwing. The only dial is a turn counter. It runs upgrades with cards just like xwing. It also has a bunch of different dice for different weapons which is pretty neat. We played the starter book mission and really enjoyed it. Feels very star wars which is awesome. Vader is slow but tough as hell while Luke is quick but doesn't do as much damage. Vehicle movement is really fun. And the thing that really got my attention was the new smaller skrimish format which is 500 points (opposed to the 800 regular size) with the upgrades and models in the starters you can get pretty close to 500.
