Had my first game with the army last night (thanks for the game and all the brainstorming afterwards Matt!)
Got me thinking that given I need spells for fate points, a list built around some endless spells might prove worthwhile (given I never even got 10 fate points with my trial list!)
Heroes
Lord of change - general - incorporeal form (-1 to be hit), mark of the conjurer (2 fate points when doubles on a spell - which LOC always has happen due to their special rule)
Herald of Tzeentch
Daemon prince of Tzeentch
Units
10 pink horrors 10 pink horrors 10 pink horrors exalted flamer
Endless spells
Chronomantic Cogs - for the additional spell / turn for the LOC Balewind vortex - additional spell / turn for the prince and extra range, which he uses to cast..... Soulsnare shackles (to hopefully stuff some movement first turn to prevent me from being simply over run)
The alternative I thought was trading the vortex and the shackles for the spell portal for an actual damaging spell turn one, but that got nerfed in the FAQ to only one spell / turn. Alternatively I can just give up the exalted flamer (just summon one turn 3) and add in the spell portal and another endless spell. I'm not sure it's even POSSIBLE to cast five endless spells / turn plus anything else useful, so this idea might be going a little TOO overboard on the idea - but if everything goes perfectly that option is 10-12 fate points per turn!

Not sure if it's still a thing but I use to use the vortex when I played aos. I know they changed it before that monsters could not be on it.
Is that still a thing and if so is a daemon prince a monster in aos?

they changed it to less than 9 wounds and not part of a unit... so princes can (and are a pretty survivable option for it) but no to a lord of change.
also tempted to test out a conflageration battalion but would need cheaper troops as pinks are now 200 points!

sadly fateweaver is strictly worse in every way to a lord of change....I mean I still bought and built the new kit as fateweaver lol

more refining... would have to pick up s gaunt summoner but they're pretty cheap
