Kingston Gaming Nexus - Sunday July 7thdoors open at 9 AM - 9:30 start time sign up is here: kingstonnexus.ca/events/age-of-sigmar-summer-2019/No painting requirement.
New player friendly / introductory tourney as always! $15 entry fee - 3 rounds - 2 hour games. 1500 points .... we'll be using the Vanguard level to build our lists so that is: 1-4 leaders 2+ battleline 0-2 behemoths 0-2 artillery up to 200 points of allies to make things easier - go here for GW's official (and free!) list builder: www.warhammer-community.com/warscroll-builder/Specific rules for this tourney: - realm rules will NOT be used for building your list (ie: no realm specific artifacts spells etc.) however, each table will be set up to be a specific realm (so BOTH players will benefit from the pros/cons of the realm) - Endless spells are totally fine to be used! Any questions / suggestions feel free to ask!

We'll see if I'm alive for this. (My Sister's Wedding, which I'm in, is the night before) I'll do my best!

If I signed up, do I just give the entry fee to Mike as cash, or do I pay online? On mobile, so am having a hard time to view the link. If for some reason my computer completely crapped out, is it possible to sign up in store, or is it online only. I guess that ties into the question of payment.
Also, if the new generals Handbook is out by then, do we use those points values? What happens if it is out, but a few people in the tourney can't get their hands on one?
No painting requirements you say? I should have enough assembled for 1500 points by then. It's good there is no painting requirements though, as there may not be enough time for me to paint them all, hahaha.
Also, if i do join, I just want to be sure of something. You see, I'm not good in high stress situations, and to date I've played about 2 games of Age of Sigmar, both in first edition. As such, I would be pretty much new. Would they be ok, or since I'd be so new would it be best to wait for the next tournament?
You said there is a 2 hour limit per game. What happens if the limit is reached? How is a winner decided?
Last question for now, and it may be odd, but are there prizes to win? I mean, not that it matters, as I'd likey lose horribly if I do sign up and go, hahaha.
I may try signing up this weekend if I can. I am interested.
Sorry for all the questions.

Wait, one last question!
I noticed you said 3 rounds. Is that 3 tournament rounds, or do you mean each game will be end after 3 rounds instead of 5? If 3 tournament rounds, I suppose that means each person will play 3 games?
EDIT: Where can I find the realm rules? Are they in the core book? I ask as I just noticed you mentioned the tables will have realms, and that they have rules.

you can pay online or in person... doesn't matter - whichever is more convenient to you
new people are welcome... last tourney we had a few people that were completely brand new... zero experience necessary, it's very new player friendly
the missions will say how a winner is decided in case of time running out
all the tournaments I run everything is a draw prize, based on the total of entry fees received, split up into prizes. You get tickets and put them in the prize you want to win. You can lose every game and still win the biggest prize!
realm rules are in the core book, and I will have a hand out on every table used explaining what the specific rules for that table are.
there will be 3 games.
