I picked up my kit on Friday and finally got the time to put stuff together. Here are the character models from the core set and the first expansions: http://instagram.com/p/B4-PY-XnHIm I probably won’t get around to the scenery in the box just yet.

How was building them? I've seen online that some of the pieces look ridiculously small, and building it was a little bit of a pain in the ass. End result looks amazing though! Pretty excited to get my hands on a core box:)

How was building them? I've seen online that some of the pieces look ridiculously small, and building it was a little bit of a pain in the ass. End result looks amazing though! Pretty excited to get my hands on a core box:) They are a realistic scale and not the heroic scale of a GW mini. Ultron's thighs are three pieces each; Black Widow's and Captain Marvel's arms were really small and at one point I though I had lost one forever when it slipped out of my hand. They are akin to some Malifaux or Infinity models. But not all are hard to put together. Red Skull and Spider-man were pretty quick. All of the build instructions are on the Atomic Mass Games website (along with numbers corresponding to the numbers on the sprue - which isn't how the instructions are given in the box) Overall, I'd say the figures are really good. The parts fit together really nicely and there are not really any mould lines. You get a random assortment of bases in the box and on each base sprue are a couple little gubbins such as coffee cups, bottles, and a crushed pop can that you can use as scatter on the bases. For their first game, I would say that they've done really well models and ruleswise. I can't say I really have any complaints for far

If anyone is interested in it, we've got the core set together and are happy to run anyone through demos. We'll probably organize a demo day or something in the next few weeks, but we can also come down for a game night or something if anyone wants to try it out. It plays loose and fast, with a lot of cinematic moments. Destructible terrain is a ton of fun
