Hi all. I figured I'd see what games people are currently playing in their RPG groups. I figure it'll be mostly D&D, but you never know, may be surprised.
Follow up questions:
Are you a just a player, or do you ever DM? Do you have a favourite game that you are not currently playing? What do you look for in a system when looking for a new RPG?
I figure I should answer my own question to get the ball rolling, hahaha.
Currently I'm sort of in two game groups. One group is playing Twilight 2013, the other is playing Only War.
I have both played and run games. I've never run D&D though.
My favourite game is probably Zweihander. It's basically Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay with the setting and serial numbers filed off. I backed it on kickstarterd, liked it, and later on backed a source book for it on kickstarter, which just arrived in the mail about 3 days ago.
I'm not entirely sure what I look for as a player in a system, but as a GM, I love books that are all-in-one, so that 1 book acts like a players guide, DM guide, and monster manual.

I haven't RPGed in a long time because my group fell apart when the guy that ran the games moved.
Use to play a lot of savage worlds and dnd.
I mostly play but have gmed once or twice. For system I look for I'd say a system that is easy to pick up and fun to play but let's you do what you want.
The savage world system is really good. Up there with dnd.
My favorite game I played was of deadlands reloaded in the savage world system. Its basicly if all the nightmares where real in the wild west.
My character was an elderly obese kungfu master who practiced mole style lol.
Both elderly and obese are hindrances that effect your movement but marital artists can cast spells and one of his his was burrow. He could borrow faster then he could run. It was fun and silly.
