Perhaps that is the strength of the Rebel forces - defined by their leaders and agents. Either way, you’re taking on an impressive amount of work.

I feel like Ahsoka Tano is way more important than Cassian Andor to the universe; but that’s just my two cents. Maybe turn the Rogue One unit into a deathwatch style elites choice. I feel like none of them was a particularly “HQ” material, but they were all pretty seasoned specialists in their own way. It could be an all or nothing kind of selection, “X” points for the blob and they only buff each other. Also, don’t forget to put in their unit entry that “Rebellions are built on hope” you know…at least… 5-10 times, so people get it.
That’d free up some slots for Commander Cody, so you have a clone trooper commander in there as well as some other notable Jedi, like Ahsoka, Plo Koon or Revan. I know she doesn’t have a model, but some rules for Jocasta Nu would be sweet; she went RIGHT off the rails after Order 66 and became an assassin, just straight murderizing imperials with a sniper rifle.

clones and separatists are my planned 3rd book actually, with the ability to ally with either empire or rebels with certain conditions. (have a bunch of ideas for them, but need to finish the boring rebels first...lol)
re: Andir and K2s0 - they have cool legion models available for them so wanted to include them.
also allows a rogue one themed force with them, rebel spies and jyn erso

Are the rules somewhere to review yet and I missed the link?
I do hope you give Sabine access to her Dark Sabre and all her fun Mandalorian gear.

I'm hoping to have the first draft done soon... will link on the first page (where I have my Empire codex linked already)... I've just got the fliers to finish then the datasheets are done... light side force powers, warlord traits and stratagems... then initial points hmmm... that actually seems like a lot left...lol... I thought I was closer! (and yes, Sabine has the dark saber and mandalorian armor as well as her twin pistols!)

hmmm... that actually seems like a lot left...lol... I thought I was closer! (and yes, Sabine has the dark saber and mandalorian armor as well as her twin pistols!) That does sound like a lot. I looked over the Empire codex and it really shows the amount of work you put into it. My only begrudgingly anal comment is that it includes First Order characters and Maul. To me, those don’t fit as Empire from a fluff point of view. After the end of the Clone Wars, Palpatine actively hunted Maul and he was no friend to the Empire. Inquisitors could replace dark Jedi as they were active under the Empire. And First Order should be their own (though unfortunately similar) codex. But as I said, that’s just me being extremely anal about this.

yeah first order is in there as an option because for the most part they share nearly identical units (armor design notwithstanding).
maul WAS with the empire for a time before basically pissing off everyone...lol
I go with the same view as the chaos daemons codex - alot of the units hate one another just as much or more than their opponent!
glad you liked it though!

Ya you are going an amazing job I cant imagen doing this.
A separatist army with the droids would be pretty cool with doocu or how you spell it and I thought maul would be in the separatists.

maul will be available for the separatists as well... just as obi wan will be available in old man form for the rebels and young McGregor version for the clone troopers...
it's an insane amount of work... but I'm actually finding it really fun
working on initial points for playtesting... first draft should be ready for review shortly!

maul WAS with the empire for a time before basically pissing off everyone...lol Perhaps I am remembering wrong, sorry about that. I know he was an operative under Sideous making him essentially an agent for the CIS. But after surviving his bisection, I remember he became a crime lord during the clone wars and was hunted by Palpatine and the Jedi. Next I remember him popping up in Rebels as an older man who is actively hunted by the Empire’s Inquisitors while trying to hunt down Kenobi. Did I miss something? 🙂 *Edit: I don’t mean to sound like a dick, if I really missed something I do want to know I cannot live with incomplete Star Wars knowledge lol

oh you're absolutely right on the timeline... I was referring to basically the short time he was working for palpatine ie: episode 1 era... mainly because I wanted to include him, and at that time had no intention of going beyond the empire dex... but you're right he would definitely fit more in the clone era... but I really don't want to rework/ reprint the first book...lol

Grevious would honestly be interesting. Start with a jedi, make him even more of a highly maneuverable CQC monster but lose Force abilities. He'd probably also have the ability to ignore terrain/models when moving, fall back and charge (seriously in both series the guy could be agile as ****) and/or the ability to pass off damage to nearby B-1 units (I recall him using them as temporary shields a couple of times).
He's the walking blender that charges into your lines followed by your troops/monsters/vehicles getting shredded. Main counter would be keeping him at range and/or psychic powers.
