Ok, so I've decided that rather than start a new army, I'll get my Custodes to 2000 points. Now, to do this, I actually do have my eyes on some Forgeworld Models as well as GW models. Sagittarum Guard and a Telemon Heavy Dreadnought, in case it matters.
Now, I don't really do tournaments, but for an everyday game on Saturday, or any other day, would that be alright? I am aware that some tournaments here have a no Forgeworld rule, but like I said, I'm not much one for tournaments.
If not, I suppose I'll have to redo my "to get" list.

lots of people in this area have forgeworld models we play with on saturdays. if you are worried you could always tell your opponent before hand. I haven't had any problem playing with anyone when i bring forgeworld. other then maybe when i bring my leviathan.

Alright, good to know.
Although to be fair, this is still a ways off. Need the money first, but have other things going on at the moment that need it instead, hahaha. Still, I'm hoping in the new year I'll hopefully place some orders.

ummm tournaments here do NOT have a rule against forgeworld
the secret santa tourney has no forgeworld/titanic/primarch/LOW... but it's a special case.
Nothing is restricted at all from club champs for example.

Anyone who has a problem with forgeworld in eigth edition needs to learn what games workshop models are capable of. I wouldnt say anything made by forge world right now is outside of the balance curve aside from maybe iron hands levithans but that's a big maybe
