Hi all. I was looking at a PDF of the Gaming Book, and had a question: Does the local community allow the use of the artifacts and such from these books? As a follow up question, if I did want to use these, would I need to use the realm rules, and thus only use an artifact from the realm I'm currently in? From what I can tell, it only matters what realm I say my guys are from, but I want to make sure.
For that matter, what about the realm specific spells? It does outright saw in the case that you have to be playing in that realm to use them, but I don't think anyone here uses the realm rules too much.
Would you guys think it's worth getting the physical copy? I ask as I can't really put PDFs on my phone, so if I want to use this stuff at the table I'm either printing out the pages I need, or getting the book.

it only matters what realm your army is from. And yes, these are perfectly legal.
Realm spells you have to be playing in that particular realm. doesn't come up alot locally but if you want to play a game set in one of the specific realms then you can use it.
I don't have a copy of that book because I found there's little in it I need at all to play.

I will say that it is very convenient to have access to all the battleplans in one book, as well as the endless spells rules (only applies if you use endless spells).
If you already have access to missions or just printing out the pages for missions, I think you can forgo buying the book. If not, it's 40 bucks for everything which is nice. (though missions are bound to be changed in the future).

Alright. Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably just print out the pages I'd need, mostly to show anyone I'd play with the artifact or whatever so they know it's not made up.
