So, I was just looking at the battleforces, and noticed something about the nighthaunt: They are almost all connected by just a tiny little thing that looks like it would snap if you look at it the wrong way. As someone with models that are thicker than that, it looks weird.
It also makes me wonder if they are sturdier than they look, or if they need to be made stronger in someway to avoid breaking. And it's not just the nighthaunt (Although they are the worst offenders), but some other models from factions looks spindly as well. One example is gloomspite fanatics.
So, if they do need to be made stronger, how would you do so? I'm just curious.

I have a Nighthaunt army and haven't had any issues with anything breaking yet.
Admittedly I don't get to play much so they spend a lot of time in storage. The bigger issue I've had with them is them being top heavy and falling over constantly, despite being relatively light.

I play Ad Mech in 40k, about as spindly as it gets. Makes subasseblies problematic, you really want to focus on plastic glue as much as possible. Aside from that, you just have to carry some super glue around

I play with a dude who owns a bunch of Nighthaunt stuff and the fact that it's plastic means that as long as you don't swipe it off the table or drop something on it, it's actually pretty tough. The light weight of the miniature means that the narrow bits can bend/flex with the stress of general play.
And if a mini does occasionally break you can always glue it back together.
I don't think there's much you can do to 'strengthen' it since the strength comes from the flexibility and lightness of the plastic rather than its hardness. Well, besides piling on a ton of greenstuff and resculpting large amounts of the mini or securing it to a piece of a scenic base.
