An all giant army would likely have difficulty capturing objectives, just due to lack of bodies I'd imagine. Still, I want to see where GW goes with this.

Could have a rule like Ogors where each body counts as 2 or something similar

They can be used as allies for any army in the game it seems. Well, that's awesome. I wonder what their points costs will be, and if they would fit into the allies allotment.

current gargant is only 160 points... given the beefed up model I'd expect a beefed up statline... maybe 250 points or so?

Oh, I was unaware of that. So, yeah, they'd very likely be able to fit in as allies. While I likely wouldn't get an all gargant army, an ally detachment of them sounds interesting.
