Huh, neat.
Sadly, I have nobody to play with, hahaha.

its global... you can play with strangers if you don't have someone local to play

There's actually some really nice discord communities for warhammer40k Table top sim and I think there's one for AoS. Never personally used it but there's quite a bit of games running at a given time

Hmmm....
I just quickly looked at the video posted. It seems the "how to install" video is 40k specific. Is there one that shows where and how to get AoS up and running?

I know the video is titled warhammer 40k because the guy who made is plays 40k on his YouTube channel with it. But it will be the same other then when he is searching for 40k stuff to add in mods you would search for aos stuff.

It's the same process yea, to be fair 40k gets a lot more support than AoS. You can expect to have 3d models for 40k for quite a bit I would say. For my bonesplitterz for instance tho, I only found paper craft models. Still great for playing games but ultimately not as nice as 3d.

The other BIG advantage for this program is that you can test out in game, units and lists that you don't own yet, to see if you actually want to invest the money into purchasing them!

That does indeed sound good. The only problem I still have is having nobody to play with, hahaha. Whenever I play things online with random people, it's almost always been a miserable experience for the most part.

Well if you do manage to pick it up, you can post in game coordinator to get local games most likely. I own it and I've been playing games with Mike and it's been pretty fun. Trying out SCE with things like the celestant prime is also super tempting

Didn't think about that. I do have a headset for my computer, so would be able to talk. I'm also looking to try and get some Ossiarch Bonereapers soonish, so it could be a way to test them.
Ok, in a few days I'll try to get it, figure out how it works, and then possibly make a posting on here looking for a game.

Well, I've made several attempts, and I can't get tabletop simulator to work for me. So, no online Warhammer for me. Oh well.

What's the issue with it? Won't boot up?

Actually, it runs just fine. The problem is more, well, me. I just worded it wrong.
I just can't figure it out. I've looked up tons of youtube videos and guides, but I still can't get things to work properly in game. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I know that I'm the problem.
So, to anyone else, please don't let this scare you away from the game. It works fine and all, I'm just too much of an idiot to figure out how it works.

Ok, so I've been able to figure out how it works, but ran into another problem.
I can't find Ironjawz anywhere, so I figured I'd have to play something else. I'd like to maybe try out some Chaos Marines if possible in 40K.
Then my problem shows up: I don't actually own a codex or battletome for anything other than Ironjawz. So, I don't know any unit stats or point costs or special rules. With that being said, is there anything I could possibly do, outside of getting a pdf of the rule book, and constantly alt-tabbing to it?
