www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Chaos-Space-Marines-Vex-Machinator-2019Ok, so up there is a link to the model I'm curious about. It's an awesome model, don't get me wrong, but what bothers me is the name. You see, in that link, he clearly has a name. However, on battlescribe, he is just a generic, nameless lord. So.... Is he supposed to be unique or not? I can't find any unit on battlescribe with the name Vex Machinator, so I'm wondering if this is an oversight on the battlescribe folks, or if this isn't a named character after all. (I'm asking because I want to get back into 40K, and I'm tempted to go Chaos Marines. Either them or AdMech)

No you can run 3 of them, a common supreme command detactment is 3 of them in a flawless host.

Ah, that rule of 3 thing is why you can only have 3, right? I can't remember off the top of my head, and I can't look it up at the moment, but does that also apply to basic troops? I remember some things being exempt.

I remember some things being exempt. Correct. Everything but troops and dedicated transports So you can have only 3 of something unless it's a troop choice or dedicated transport
