So I like think they will show a few cool things in the works. War of the spider is still out there so I suspect that there is going to be some form of Chaos Primaris. The Silent king will likely make a show, along with some new Necron unit. And I am hopeful that a second Space Marine Primarch will be coming down the pipe.
anyone have any other ideas.?

I'm hoping there will be a pariah anti-psyker unit... and am most looking forward to the Silent King
Unless there's an updated Daemon or GSC or Tyranid codex... then I'm most excited for THAT!
(but not holding my breath on that one)
Also there is a rumour going around that 9th edition (ie: the big cleanup edition) will be announced soon.

I keep hearing rumours of 9th ed or 8.5 ed but I don't know if that's still happening. I'm just expecting the silent king, pariahs and that other character. I would love to see new Chaos marines to accompany Fabious Bile but not expecting much there.

I for one would welcome a clean up edition regardless of how you number it. As to another SM primarch:
LION! LION! LION!

I think we will see Necrons in the new starter set for the 8.5/9th ed release. Also, there's a lot of chatter about updated plastic Necron kits including Flayed Ones

Silent king stuff. Maybe a flayer virus army for necrons. Like one of the dynasties.
Would live another primarch or two. I'm super shocked that more have not been released, they seem like printing money for gw.

One thing I've seen constantly suggested/hoped for on youtube is a space marine versus Necron boxset.
As for my own opinion, Silent King and at least one redone/new Necron unit. Still holding out hope for the return of spellcaster-Crypteks. Unlikely but a nice dream.

New necron warriors are needed. Lots of poop squat necrons out there.

I would just like a slight rework of rules for a new edition so we aren't referring to pages of FAQ and errata. Makes it harder to follow for newer players.

Could we go waaay out on a limb here and ask for a digital ruleset? One that can be updated seamlessly?

And the cinematic trailer for 9th. Nicely done but whoever was rolling for the Necrons in that video needs to burn his dice. They failed at least 4/5s of their saves there.
Looks like they're doing away with the green plastic rods (save everything you can folks, they're great for terrain crystals). Also we seem to be getting weapon options for the warriors. In this preview image you have the regular guns and a heftier option that honestly looks like an Immortal's weapon.
Chunky lad. Massive gauss cannon, a hyperphase sword that looks like it could carve open land raiders and a claw that is similar to a Flayed One only on some serious growth hormones.
Picture one is fuzzy as heck but gives plenty of hints. Destroyers seem to be losing the green rods as well, Monoliths have gotten a massive makeover (new rules as well pls?); we have some sort of tall spindly walkers which can have doomsday cannons installed (picture two has a better view of the non-DDC version, looks like a trio of particle beamers) there's a winged 'something' that might be a new C'Tan (not quote me on that).
And way at the back we have the massive diorama that is the Silent King on his mobile throne. Which going by this preview, is powered by a C'Tan shard. Szarekh is using a freaking Tesseract Vault as his command barge.
Picture two shows the monster guy along with some smaller friends. Maybe they're some sort of melee-specced destroyers and a D-lord? On the right by the walker there's what's either a new Lychguard or Lord and what appear to be revamped Scarabs. In the center there's something that might be a variant Cryptek along with a couple of minions. And finally at the bottom left there is what appear to be a revamped Immortal because he's a fair bit beefier then the warriors.
Looking at it all together, they've redone a massive chunk of the range.
