Listening through now. Quite excited to see the ruleset in action.
Will update with anything interesting I notice for those who don't have the will/desire/etc to listen through.
EDITS:
~28m mark - In classic MWG fashion they explained the reserve rules wrong already. You can come on in your own deployment zone or on "neutral" board edge area during turn 2, and within your opponent's deployment zone (but not along their battlefield edge) on turn 3. In the video they state you can only come on from neutral board edges.

yeah I watched 90% of it (skipped over some of the more time intensive / obvious rolling). Liked to see it in action.. was kind of surprised with the new 100 point scoring (or 90 depending on if you're doing the paint thing or not) with how close games can still be.
Get used to tournies being 300 points for 1 day, and 600 for two days... I'm liking this... gives way more room for the spread than just getting essentially 12-13 for a win.
also REALLY like the new secondary system

Yeah, I've honestly been a fan of the progressive secondaries ITC used for a long time. But these seem like an even better version of them. It's like GW gobbled up the ITC and made it better and then just baked them into the core rules of the game.

Had to pause my listening yesterday due to some other things that came up, but of what I watched and saw having lots of terrain is going to definately be a thing.
Gunlines will be much harder to play with the obscuring rules for terrain, which should help make for much more tactical games. I was initially worried the reduced tables sizes might invalidate certain flanking tactics but the new terrain rules actually improve those tactics and those who know how to use them will be very effective imo

shooting armies will now be forced to *gasp* MOVE occasionally... so their "tactics" aren't just stand there and leafblower things off the board turn one.
probably one of the things I'm most excited about are the terrain rules.

Ash Barker (Guerrilla Miniature Games on YouTube) is posting 9th edition reports every day this week I believe using a variety of armies against Owen from Gaming with the Cooler in case some of you still have an itch that needs scratching.

Thanks for that! will check it out!
Tabletop tactics just did a salamanders vs. necrons 9th edition game... however some initial tactical mistakes from the one player made it a bit of a rout so I'm not sure it was completely worth watching for tactics (other than they're funny guys and I had it in the background while I was painting).

Tabletop tactics have really upped their production quality lately as well. The phase overviews they do from the overhead cam are awesome.

just watched the batrep that Guerrilla Miniature Games did with the new box set... makes me love those new necron models even more seeing them in action! (they got a couple rules wrong, however I think it balanced out because it was on both sides)

Miniwargamimg just did a bat rep with the new box models. Haven't finished it yet as I'm about to have dinner. Not sure if it's on YouTube or just on their site

Not the best comparison on list capabilities since the BA had twin Repulsors and the Necrons only real anti-tank capability were the Skorpekh Destroyers, their Lord and some wraiths.
Still showed that large warrior groups don't work against marines at all. Well they might have we get the codex but for now? Yeah, I'm sticking to destroyers.

Tabletop Titans also have some great reports, as well as tactica for 9th
I don't think we're going to know anything much on necrons til the new book to be honest.
