just wondering if people wanted to do an intro to 9th tournament?
as we're not even close to being able to have a tournament at nexus, this would have to be through TTS
if you're interested click "yes" on the poll and I'll set it up!
if you have some recommendations as to how this should run please comment below

I should add... the timeframe I'm looking at is starting August 1st (given the full rules release July 25th). Probably 3 games, but am open to any ideas people have!

I'm interested, but I should add that I have a professional development exam scheduled in mid August and might interfere with time commitment for something like this.

time commitment would be three games spread out over the course of a week... likely first week of August.... unless people are super anxious to play with the new rules on release... in which case sooner!

Yeah, I'm just mentioning it because while I'm ahead on my study plan (this has been a thing for a few months), I may need to cram/review/etc in the last bit leading up to it.
I'd also love to get a game in at some point just to learn how to play in TTS prior to this, it's one thing to watch the video but it's another to actually do it.

wondering if for the tournament if we should start with a lower points level as its a newer edition and tts seems to take a little longer.
1000 points maybe? or could do 1500 again. Just a suggestion

Just a suggestion The 1000 points would be a good idea. With the increases I think the 9th ed 1000 points will probably look similar to 1500 points in 8th.

You've got that a bit backwards I think. 9th Ed points are going up, so a 1500pt game of 9th will have fewer models than a 1500pt game of 8th.
1500 is probably a good spot i think.

I don't think the points are gunna go up THAT much. Maybe if your list was really spammy and full of high value horde units like chaos cultists or something that got a particularly hard points hit. I would guess that on average a 1750 list in 8th will be what a 2k strike force list looks like in 9th.
1500 seems like a fine points values for now to me (until we actually have 9th index)

There are no points in the rule book. Chapter Approved and hopefully the app are the only places to find them.
