I recently bought a pre-owned Tau empire lot for a incredible deal but one issue is I'm not to keen on the colour scheme and I want it to also match my main army's colour scheme too so I've been recently repainting alot of them (look in the monthly painting challenges since July) but I'm thinking here i will show alot of my stage's from what they used to look like to what they will look like here, I do have a lot more than there is here to paint i have a few un-opened kit's but im going to try to get these one's done first and once I have everything done (pre-owned & new kit's) im going to show my whole army off in one picture and might get my self a really nice and unique model and paint it as well. !Update! so I have made progress but also at the same time added more things for me to do (I bought ohgodsnakes Tiger shark). I'm nearly done the crisis suit batch I've been working on I'm waiting on for basing stuff to come in and and to make the bases for them, I also magnetized my old crisis suit's in the mean time, so now they are modular as well (yay) but for the magnet's I have once again ran out of them in total I've used 150 magnets on my suit's so far and I'm thinking I'm going to need another 125 magnets which will hopefully be enough for all my crisis gun's/support systems I have. I finished my 3 crisis suit's I was working on (mostly was waiting for my basing stuff to come in) and in one of the picture's you can see what I'm working on now and it's almost done painting wise, but I'm very happy with how the base's came out this time specially my one with the fence and pipe cage and the more dynamic feel then most of my other base's in my army. imgur.com/a/ynICY1d |

That thing I was working on is now complete what it was, was an xv8 battlesuit commander, it was a challenging task to get him in a walking stance but I did it and I'm happy with how the basing for this one came out as well I do plan on adding more bit's to him like another arm shield/pad if I can find one to make him look more juggernaut like and maybe some accessories but for now I'm happy with using him. I have completed more into my army, this time is 6 marker light's and a fire cadre, I decided to make this cadre more unique from my other two so i decided to take and ork head and make it look like he's trusting it into the air, I might find a spot for his honor blade but im happy with how he is now, I know i need to find some more drone aerials for my marker light's and why these have a solid red top then the gray rim & red center is to differentiate different drone types. imgur.com/a/RxVG36k |

Since I haven't updated since October I will start from there and go month by month till we get to present I've been busy painting for the past while, November I didn't do too much in terms of making stuff but December is when I started designing and building my Display board for the Clubchamps tourney, after pain staking hours of cutting cork board to shape and gluing together to make 3 story buildings and making a mess of my room from cork dust and bits, I went on to spackle my board to add texture and paint it and once that was complete I made a frame for the board and sanded it down & painted it and after a whole month of work hard at it this is what I had. imgur.com/a/jTR0tGd <- after construction imgur.com/a/UVNh9CN <- Some pictures I took of my army on the board at Club champs |

How did you hold the cork board together? I find that it is flimsy.
