Well, I'm excited. Will definitely be grabbing that book asap. Then it will be time to scour the internet for deals on new models to add to my existing force. The price tag on the new stuff doesn't shock me quite as badly now after following the lumineth and primaris releases, but there's still no way I can stomach going full retail.

I am a big fan of this guy. Fingers crossed he had a non-named build.
I am however, incredibly intimidated at the thought of painting him up. I'm still a newish painter, and I've mostly done small models. I have a couple of riptides, and a ghostkeel, but tau are super easy to paint. My beasts of chaos (especially these tzaangors) are taking me sooo long per model. This is basically another diorama piece, and I'm not sure how I'll do justice to all of those details (and if I don't, I'll be disappointed), and still get it done before AoS 4.0
In other news, Slaangors have the beasts of chaos keyword. Hurrah! But not the bray/warherd keywords. So I'll be able to run them with my beasts, they just wont get many buffs. And their statline looks pretty mediocre, but so does everything else in BoC, so they should fit in just fine.

i find with models like this, painting in sub-assemblies is a must!
