I do have TTS, yeah - I also own the Warhammer: Underworlds Online game, as well. My Steam info is in my sig, below.

I used to play M:TG way back, but only friendly games. That was fun, as we didn't have to worry about restrictions on what can be used, or have to worry about OP combos. If this ends up like that, I'd enjoy it.

For anyone playing online does it work the same for card collection? Certain universals come with certain warbands?

I was also thinking after reading some stuff on fb and whatnot but I guess a bunch of new communities are starting the game by doing and adapted Vanguard format. The current vanguard format is only Direchasm and on. Which makes it super easy for new players but leaves old collectors in the cold of the prefer an older warband. So the adapted format is pretty simple. All warbands are good to go but you only use the universals for tye Direchasm set. So as it stands that would be the Direchasm starter box and the Khagra's Ravegers box. Not sure what your feelings are on the but thought I would bring it up with the potential crew.

I had assumed that but we are going to just play friendly games that are not for a league, then any universal card would do. Just my 2 cents though. If the majority want it otherwise, I won't argue.

Are there any Universals from the older sets that are really powerful and might put newer players at a disadvantage for not having access to all the previous seasons&warbands?
If there are than that would be my only reason for instituting a restriction to the most currently accessible ones since there isn't an easy way through GW/FLGS to get the older stuff and Ebay isn't always reliable or reasonably priced

As far as I can tell there are some cards that are banned and restricted. Nothing really too crazy. I'm down for anything, I was just thinking of entry level players and getting everyone on the same level.
I have the beastgrave starter and a handful of the beastgrave warbands and will buy everything that comes out for the direchasm rotation (specially those super awesome looking feral orcs) but thats just me and wanting all the cool models.
Though really for our first few games we should just rock the warband decks as the come out of the box.
