Man I don't know how Australia always has such a wildly different meta but I love it. Some crazy things like Guard, Eldar Wraiths, and Nids breaking into the top 6 spots. Also marines using drop pods and short legs is pretty cool.
I hope Kingston's Meta can be as crazy as down under.

Stuff in FOW/TY that would never see the table in North America finds uts way to to the top....its interesting.

I wouldn't actually be that surprised if the Craftword's Wraith-Battery plug-in made it way into the top tier metagame. It's 790 points for the 5 wraiths, which is just about the same as 15 Sky Weavers at 825, but it changes the way the rest of the Harlies list plays quite a bit, and deals with the big-monster-mashy stuff that has been appearing in the meta as result. Haywire doesn't work so well vs monsters, but D-Cannons certainly do.
The improved Chaos Super Friends version will also likely catch on here, 4 big nasties, one of which can be used as a disposable rapier-strike early in the game will be too much for a lot of armies.
That Guard list is also quite interesting. IMO it's probably very close to the absolute best list you can make with the codex right now, and rightly deserves that finish. Standard Triple-Commander-Double-Manticore ase the base, with Nightshroud to throw around and a Firstborn-powered Malcador Defender, throwaway Psykers for Interrogation/Ritual, and a Valkyrie for precision strike Scions and a Super-Vox Commander who can drop orders from inside his transport. An incredibly well oiled machine.

The Necron list is one I find very surprising. Particularly given the trio of A.Barges which haven't really seen play for a while. But with the dynasty you're getting Heavy 10 S7 AP-1 at 19.5 inches (max range 39") for each. And the points layout suggests they have the underslung Gauss cannons which are nice marine zappers.
Of course a list with a good amount of haywire weapons (hello harlequins) would utterly destroy this line-up but that's true for the overwhelming majority of vehicle-based lists.
