That second hymn is kind of bullshit and here's why I say that. Let's say that you have a sisters player running up against Thousand Sons, or Shannon's smite spam list, or chaos daemons, or grey knights, etc. etc. You push a unit of your warsuits infrton of yur army, pray hard, and now they, and all of their friends behind them are safe from smites.
That prayer, used properly is going to spell certain doom for psychic reliant armies.

looks like it's core, characters, or engines of destruction (I assume mortifiers/penitent engines)
So could be situationally useful for sure, although I don't think the warsuits will be core.
The one snag is your opponent gets to move first before psychic, so unless you're sending the one unit way up front of everything else in your army so you cannot get an angle on something else it may not work.
Sisters of silence and the culuxus assassin already do this inherently... and they're not exactly top tier units! (can't remember the last time I've seen either in a serious list)

Another problem is that you have to include all of your prayers on your army roster - unless there's a Sisters character who knows all of the prayers, I don't know how many lists are going to be willing to invest a prayer slot into hosing psychic armies.

Yeah, unless you start seeing a psyker focused template for a competitive list start running wild, that psychic defense prayer is super niche. Unless there's some sort of strat that allows you to swap out a prayer at pre-deployment or something (which we haven't seen anything like so far) then I seriously doubt that ability is any more than a niche pick for tailoring against Nids/Eldar/Sons/GK

I dunno, there area strats that allow the swapping of spells and others that allow the using of abilities that weren't selected in the army selection phase. Plus, it all depends on how cheap priests are. If it comes down to 40-50 points to safety your army against a wide variety of threats; that's a pretty easy trade in my opinion depending on how many prayers there are obviously...

240 points for three... +10 for the multimelta... so yeah, they're double the points of terminators.
The stats are essentially mortifiers/penitent engine with a 2+ save and less attacks. Their weapons are pretty cool and they're fairly likely to make combat. Weapons seem more elite/monster killers, while the engines/mortifiers are either can openers or infantry blenders depending on if you took buzz saws or flails. Only three attacks at -1 to hit with that mace could be dicey though.
The warsuits have the armor and -1 to incoming damage, which is very good. The engines/mortifiers have a FNP.
So is that worth +20-30 points a model over a mortifier? Yeah I think it's pretty balanced at that. The multimelta upgrade is worth it of course because multi-melta's are pretty awesome and makes them distinct in role from the engines/mortifiers as they cannot take anything other than double heavy flamers / heavy bolters.
I'll be definitely trying out a unit.

240 points for three... +10 for the multimelta... Technically, they're priced at 240/model right now. I can't get over how many amateur mistakes find their way into every GW document. Hire. A. Proofreader.

yeah... apparently GW was really mad at sisters...
at least we know after Drukhari and Admech they weren't having any more power creep.
So many nerfs! sigh... other than the new stuff apparently? thanks.

I'll have to completely rebuild how I do lists now... as I cannot currently make a legal list! (canoness can only be one per detachment and I don't own any of the special characters)
