While I'm happy they fixed the dark techno issue but I do wish it had been a touch more subtle with it. Win 73% is way too much but I think the coven will see almost no play now with how good wych cult and kabals. I do think that making it 1s to wound feal mortal would have been a cool way to do it. A unit doing 2d6 hits but rolling 4x 1s and it melts itself. Seems pretty dark.

It won't be just dark technomancers or nothing. Wych cult is quite good, but relied alot on the succubi. Will be interesting to see how DE lists adapt, especially with the point hike to Drahzar and the Raider (not so easy running 6+ of them now!)

Hm.... Apparently the FAQ says that units with an ability to count as stationary can do things like fall back and shoot without penalty or fall back and still charge depending what phase the rule applies to.
The rare rules entry appears to directly state that as a result of this change, Craftworlds units with Battle Focus can fall back and shoot without penalty with non-heavy weapons. (Basically all non-wraith non-vehicle units).
Thoughts?

A nice buff to a couple of underperforming factions (and in the case of Eldar, mostly underperforming units).

Oh yeah for sure. Dark Reapers just got a points drop, but not a single aspect body got a drop besides the horrendously over costed Fire Dragons who didn't even get the Melta-Buff yet. This buff offsets that significantly. Eldar have never had access to fall back and shoot without penalty outside of Wraithguard (who naturally have a rule that explicitly allows them to do so) or a 2CP Stratagem. So this is a whole new world to explore and really helps those short-ranged Eldar weapons like shuriken, deathspinners, laser-lances and other things become much more deadly.
It obviously doesn't apply to fall-back-and-charge, but Eldar don't typically want to do that, and the few units that do have exarch powers that allow it.

So the whole remain stationary thing. The ultra marine count as stationary when they are in tactical doc right?

I'm pretty okay with craftworlds falling back and shooting with their non-heavy weapons. It's not like their non-heavy weapons are really much to write home about anyways. Plus for the most part, if you got them in combat, there won't be much left to shoot anyways given how paper most of them are lol
What I'm MORE excited about however, is with a 1 CP strat, Exocrines tagged in combat can fall back and double shoot.
I'll take THAT! lol

Something that got past everyone screens. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PveZJFtytJkApparently Super Heavies that match your warlord's faction keyword get a command benefit refund of 2CP in GT Missions now. (in addition to the top level keywords like Imperium, Chaos, Aledari, Tyranids) So effectively super heavies only have a relic tax of 1CP now if they are from your own faction.

... I mean I'm still mad at Cruddace (ie: nids), but at least in this one solitary incident I can say he did a good job. lol, he only did a good job describing it because there were no nids in the example. If there were; no matter if they all charged, AND had "fights first", they would all go last.
