So this is quite interesting: www.goonhammer.com/competitive-innovations-in-9th-drukhari-endgame/The first set of results had their rules cut off so the new FAQ wasn't used, and the usual suspects dominated (bye bye technomancers, we will NOT miss you!) but sieglar posting a 4th place at a supermajor with tau is pretty impressive! (oh if anyone wondered of COURSE Navananti jumped on the technomancers bandwagon for its final hurrah) The Utah stats though were very, very different as they had everything but new sisters live... and the top four will be a big surprise to many!

I actually watched some of a batrep where Siegler plays what might be the same list (or a very very similar version) a while back vs Lennon's GT Winning Nids list (Dug up the link for ref: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hRhkL1LPrE)It's an absolutely wild match to watch. I'm not surprised at all to see it again here. Those Utah Results tho... I did a full on double-take... Wow.

Ya Utah had something different in the drinking water: an Ork, Tau, Imperial knight and Space wolves in the top 8! That's pretty cool to see. I won't spoil who got what but very impressive.
I was a little surprised that Death guard wasn't as common in top 8s as I would have thought but I guess Dark Eldar are still a strong counter and at least some still had Dark techno running around.
I am pretty interested to see what the next round will look like with new Sister, nerfed DE and see if Dark Angels inner circle still puts in work.

I'm thinking with the toning down of sisters and the end of dark technomancers, we're going to see a more balanced field. Drukhari is still a very good book, however I think the changes have brought it more in line.
