A little disappointing to read.
Seems TSons won the draw for top Psycher army
I am sad to read they feel Strike squads and Dreadknights with Draigo is the only list they think works

A little disappointing to read. Seems TSons won the draw for top Psycher army I am sad to read they feel Strike squads and Dreadknights with Draigo is the only list they think works Just for confirmation, the Dreadknight is the baby carrier model, right? Also, do you mean a list with Dreadknights and Draigo leading them, or does the Dreadknight have an option to be built with Draigo? Since you guys are saying that Grey Knights are rather disappointing, that actually makes me more interested in them, weirdly enough. It means that if I was to start some (I'll already have some. I couldn't pre-order hexfire at Nexus, so I went online), there won't be dozens of armies of them down at the Nexus. I don't really like mirror match ups. I'll still do them of course, but I do have my preferences. Also, I like that they have fewer model choices (Same as Thousand Sons actually), as it reduces choice paralysis. I also don't mind fewer model choices (I mean, I play Ironjawz in AoS, and they have 4 leader models, and 3 unit choices), but once again, I get choice paralysis. But what do I know. I almost never win game of Warhammer (Either variety), and don't care for super competitive lists, as I'd rather just make a legal list with what I think looks cool.

sigh... no more flying landraiders
Not sure im real excited for this book, will have to wait and see if smarter people are able to do things. I will say alot of cool things were taken away or atleast nerfed, however the re-ploy when targeted is really cool. I just wonder if they will let it stay on gmdks.

Grey Knights do seem a bit underwhelming on paper atm, but I suspect their raw power is actually fairly strong. From the TTT stream last night it looks like they certainly took down the Thousand Sons a peg. It's one game, but if everyone is saying TSONS SO STRONK GK SO WEAK, yet first impressions are yielding GK victories... There's plenty of hope yet.

I hadn't watched the battle report, but that does sound hopeful Ray
I think think GK psychic defense will make them one of the tougher opponents for TSons; which seems to be how the 2 armies were designed to interact
I'm hoping that once the masses have access to the book there will be more good combos found

I'm more interested in seeing how Grey Knights interact with other armies - having +1 to deny and a 5+ vs mortal wounds is going to do next to nothing to AdMech, or Dark Eldar.
Thousand Sons also have better, more consistent secondaries (and more of them) so I have a strong feeling that while Grey Knights may be able to put up a good fight against Thousand Sons, Thousand Sons will perform better than Grey Knights will against basically every other army.

That was goonhammers thoughts too. The Tsons bonuses are universally good where as GKs are still great against some things (Psychers and Daemons) but really don't get anything against a majority of armies, especially the current top tier ones
