So this gives me a health smattering of options from the new codex. Lot shooting options, decent combat when needed and overall great mobility with some tricks. Freebootas have access to a 1cp strat to make any infantry obsec at the start of the command phase so some cool play to steal objectives. Clan kulture is pretty cool, in any phase if a unit if killed everything in the army is +1 to hit for that phase, can get to a lot of 3+/4+ shooting in the hits and hitting on 2s in combat.

Warboss in Mega armour extra WL trait -1 CP, -1 to wound, 4++ and half all damage (specialsist trukk Boyz)

3 Squig hogs + bomb squig 3 Squig hogs + bomb Squig 1 Nob on smasha squig 1 Nob on Smasga Squig extra WL trait and Relic -2cp, 5+ FNP and +1 attack , +1 attack + Strength
So this gives me a few of the new toys from the new codex. Some casting and Mortal wound options, Strong combat, tough characters, and overall good mobility with some tricks. Snakebite have access to a 1cp strat to make any unit deny as if it where caster. Clan kulture is pretty cool, all squig units are +1 to wound on the charge and everything is Transhuman on S7 or less. So +1 to wound and S6/S7 still need 4s on everything

I love Badrukk, so I completely admit my bias for the first list.
I assume we're going to be ignoring the fact that Trukk Boyz is, RAW, completely unusuable.

I love both lists, but Badrukk is the clear winner for me.
They'll be plenty of time for both since Snakebites and Freebooterz are going to be extremely popular through.

I love Badrukk, so I completely admit my bias for the first list. I assume we're going to be ignoring the fact that Trukk Boyz is, RAW, completely unusuable. Ya since there is no offical ruling but most major play groups have made a ruling, I'm going to use the most strict rule. The vehicles also gain the specialist keyword so lose clan and can only carry specialist no loading up later on. Also as such the specialist vehicle cant take custom jobs. I'm 90% this isnt going to be how GW rules it but I figure new codex so I'll take the most conservative ruling.
