Given the content of the following, take with heavy-dose of salt. I'd guess this is about as credible as one of your grandparent's "back in my day we walked 20 miles to school! uphill both ways!" stories
Summarized from since-deleted Bolter-and-Chainsword rumor dump currently circulating:
Opinion time: This seems to go completely against the general consensus of what will come next. While in some way makes it seem credible. GSC, Tau, Chaos and Craftworlds are widely considered the factions suffering the most right now. There's a part of me that basically wants to believe all of this, but the fact SQUATS is tucked in at the end basically makes this feel like a cruel practical joke / kick-in-the-pants to the already reeling communities around the factions I just mentioned who are up in arms over the fact we've essentially officially confirmed none of them are coming this year.
I'm 99% sure this is complete BS, but there's a part of me that just really wants this to be true, which I guess is part of any good BS rumor mill post.
Summarized from since-deleted Bolter-and-Chainsword rumor dump currently circulating:
2021:
Orks kits releasing in September (we already knew this)
Black Templar limited edition army box to drop in September/October as well, similar to Beast Snagga release for Orks
Black Templar release is MASSIVE. Kits and model support for many units that previously required kitbashing or heavy customization.
December Release - Custodes vs Genestealer Cults box set, ala Hexfire style
Custodes and Genestealer Cults are getting only ONE new model each. Custodes getting a "Lieutenant" style character, Genestealer Cults getting a character called "Saboteur".
Codexes will drop along side box set similar to Hexfire. Boxed set will contain both new models.
2022:
January release is Tau. Very little in the way of new models for Tau, rumor is Plastic Darkstrider and that's basically it.
Feburary Release is Chaos Space Marines, this release is apparently MASSIVE as well, over a dozen kits rumored from chosen, possessed, new bikers, cultists, new characters, and more.
March/April is Craftworlds, Eldar will get a large but not-complete refresh, no model rumor list here, but the Eldar range is very large so this kinda makes sense.
Final piece of this rumor dump is what makes the rest of it seem like a rediculous wishlist:
SQUATS!
No timeline rumored, literally just SOMETIMES IN 2022!.
