So, I'm going through the rules, and have a bit of confusion in regards to stratagems. It's probably explained somewhere, but I'm either too tired to see it, or otherwise can't find it.
Anyway, in the core book and Thousand Sons codex I have, I've noticed something: they seem to have types.
The core book has "core stratagems", while the Thousand Sons codex has things like Battle Tactic Stratagem", Epic Deed Stratagem", Strategic Ploy Stratagem", and so on. There are a few more types.
Anyway, can anyone explain to me the differences? Also, could someone point me to the page in the rulebook with the explanation?

Requisition Stratagems are used before the game, at army list construction. This isn't a rule, per se, but every Requisition Stratagem thus far has followed this trend.
As far as the other categories are concerned, there are no particular rules or restrictions which govern them - except as they interact with other special rules and abilities. By way of an example, Commander Dante has the following special rule:
"Epic Hero of the Imperium: Once per battle, if this model is selected to use an Epic Deed Stratagem, that Stratagem costs 0 Command points."
In this case, the distinction is important because Dante cannot reduce the cost of Wargear Stratagems or Battle Tactic Stratagems.
Essentially, you can think of these categories as keywords for Stratagems - they don't generally matter on their own, but there will be other rules which modify and interact with them.
