Recently saw conquest at nexus, its rank and file 32mm, pretty decent models, good lore. I got a starter for them last spring, models are a bit difficult to put together, but newer sets are much better. Heres a mountain Jotnar i am working on for the nords faction. imgur.com/gallery/NOMuCTLalso deamon prince for size comparisson (please note giant is slightly higher cause hes tipped back.)

Yeah, I saw it too. Looks interesting. I like how the rulebook supports both full scale and skirmish games out of the box, so to speak. I'd be interested, except that lately I'm just in a huge slump of motivation and general depression, so can't bring myself to assemble/paint what I already have.
The problem from what I can tell is that it seems many in town are resistant to play anything that isn't Warhammer. Back with the older version of Killteam I tried getting some games in, and despite it using the same models, people didn't really want to play it. Some games get a very small group, and I do mean small. As in, you'd be lucky to be able to line things up with one of them once every few months.
It's a shame, as there are so many great non-Warhammer games out there, but GW and Warhammer have a stranglehold on things. To be fair, they do have some of the best models available. Well, modern models anyway, some of the older sculpts can look rather.... derpy.
I've been burned before by buying into systems that end up having no local players though, so have learned it's best to just stick to what people play.

Hey Alex, I'm lucky enough to have a spouse that will play and children I can make play lol. However I know you tired table top simulator, I really think you should give it another go. You can find people to play and a multitude of games from star wars armada, 40k, age of sigmar and beyond. I think it would be your best shot to try out games and find like minded people.

Yeah, I know I should try again, but I'm just not smart enough to be able to wrap my ahead around how it works. Also, it's just not the same as playing in person. Since covid started, the RPG group I was in moved to roll20, and it's also just not the same.
I really need to work on my Thousand Sons army, but I've been in a huge slump of depression lately, as stated above. Also, the rule that your army needs to be fully painted or else your opponent gets extra points just makes it more daunting, as it means I can't just assemble it all, and then paint when I have time, like I did with my AoS army, hahaha.

For what it's worth though, I hope you enjoy the game.

For anyone out there interested in this game, have some news. On Facebook I saw some are that if you buy the core set directly on the companies site, you can add on either 2 or 4 extra sets for no additional cost (I could have sworn it used to say 2, but seems to say 4 now, so I put both here to cover my bases).
So, basically you buy the core set, and get various troop boxes for free.
On another note, are you still enjoying/able to play the game?
