I made a very basic one that was literally just the reminder graphics from wahapedia and the core rulebook screenshotted and sized into a document together. I'll probably make a better one before the day cuz boy Sigmar needs it now

Well that works too. I just printed one off and going to play a game tomorrow night and see if I have everything on it.
But yeah, the game really needs one but then again so does 40k. At least AoS doesn't have like 30 stratagems per faction to remember. I like the idea of the generic ones and wish 40k did the same thing.

For me the big difference between learning 9th 40k and 3rd AoS, is that AoS added all the extra stuff to the core rules. It will take me a bit, but I'll learn.
40k put all the complexity and overlapping rules into the codexes. There's just no way I'm learning all the rules and combos for each faction.
It's a matter of degree, but for a casual player, one system just took it too far.

I am also glad. Although, I fear that with rising local cases, we may possibly risk extra local restrictions. I hope not, but if we do and the tournament can't go on, I suppose it can just be pushed back a bit.

I know I really shouldn't... But I also would love to play and learn... But I know that events are too rushed and not great for me to be a part of... But it would be a chance to learn...

If you just want to learn, I'd be happy to have a friendly game with you outside of a tournament environment.

Same. If the tournament pace doesn't sound like an ideal way to get started, I'm available for a game most wednesday nights.
Gitz versus Beasts. Our models can compete to see who can die faster! I'll just warn you ahead of time, my dudes can die pretty fast, and my beastlord loses to wizards 1vs1 /flex.
So no pressure, sounds like there are lots of options whenever you're up for it.
Incidentally my first 3 games of 40k were in a tournament designed much like this one. I had fun, but man I had no idea what I was doing, haha.

confirmed with Mike at Nexus - even with the announcement today from KFLA Public Health, the tourney is unaffected by the rules thus far (as it's an event space in a business) and we're still going ahead!

Wait, there was an announcement of some kind? Where can I find this information? I know it's no related, but I'd still like to know if possible.

Hey I love snark as much as the next guy but I feel like this was just a tremendous missed opportunity to use lmgtfy
On topic I hope this isn't snowballing again because I'm just plain tired of caring about pandemic measures.
