I want to see those chosen sprues. I wonder how many boxes will be needed to build a full squad. I think the real question is if they are monopose, and can only be assembled as the picture shows, or if they have options.

Yeah, I'd be pretty bummed if they were completely monopose. I feel like they should be a real kit. No one is ever going to field a squad as they are shown in the preview. But there's no way they will come with 5 of each of their weapon options.
On that note, is anyone aware of a good 3rd party bits site for chaosy stuff? I do like kromlech, but I think they're a bit lacking in chaos looking weapons.

My bet is that theyll be like sword Brothers (limited in options based on the sprue, but still generally customizable)
Replacing the old dark vengeance mono option chosen with new moni option chosen seems weird

They're almost certainly not monopose. All the options that will be in the Chosen box will be in the big box. Will all the options available to Chosen be in the set? Probably, but I would expect not enough of the same option to kit out the whole squad like the Havoc box with only one of some options *cough* Reaper Chaincannon *cough*

Weird that both imply CSM first, would have expected the opposite, but maybe the world situation has said no space elfies soon.
Option 1 seems the most realistic a nice even spread, which I'm sure is no doubt their goal. I would not expect Tau in January with 2 books already coming out, even if they are way smaller in scale compared to most books.

Definitely believe the smaller release.
Also, totally wasn't expecting guardians to come with the new Eldar. I thought the old ones were like the only non-wraith part of the old line that actually held up.

The March release slot for 40k is almost always the biggest release of the year.
Seeing as CSM are getting more models than Eldar, it makes more sense to see them in that slot, but it also brings a lot of things into question.
April is usually the AOS big slot. So it makes logical sense. But these things change constantly ATM so even if the rumor was true yesterday it might no longer be today

What else are csm rumored to be getting By all accounts Eldar are getting -new autarch -new rangers -new ranger jetties -new avatar -maugun ra -new guardian combo kit -new shining spears -replacing all the resin aspect warriors (so warp spiders, scorpions, fire dragons, and dark reapers) -possibly another Phoenix lord

I haven't seen a whole lot for CSM rumours for new models. Chosen and warpsmith confirmed. I've heard a new daemon engine was in there as well. Other items seem to be for the rumoured World Eaters book like new Berzerkers.

Chapter Master Valrak had a stream a which back saying he's got a reliable source that in addition had new cultists, new Chao Bikers, and more. I can't find the link ATM but the list was massive. Made the Eldar refresh rumors at the time look small.
