Connor, Welcome to the forum!! Just a couple quick points on the Thursday night gaming:
1. You will need a list for 2400 points and 1400 points. The reason is we sometimes end up with an odd number of players and then go 2 on 1 with each of the smaller armies being 1400 points. This helps offset the limited flexibility and additional problems of trying to coordinate 2 armies and 2 players.
2. You can use proxies if necessary or some unit fillers to flesh out infantry blocks if you want to field a large unit but don't have the numbers. If possible, try to use similar type/size models as proxies to make it a little easier to keep track. As an example, proxying orcs for warriors is fine since they are both infantry and the same base size of 25mm but proxying a gobbo for a dragon just isn't right on so many levels ;D
3. Never trust an elf!!!
See you next Thursday at Nexus.

Good to know I have a full orc army so I'll use it since I haven't taken a good look at chaos, I agree with elves being evil my brother plays them.

lol. if you have boarboys you could use them as knights. the deamon prince lord has a 50mm base so i dont know what ork that could be. the hellcannon is a 100mm base. i hope this help you with proxy.

Is the hell cannon worth the money, I looked at its profile and its good, but its a $70 big metal thing.

you're likely good for at least a year and a half to two years I would think....
the thing with GW is that they update around 3 books per year for each of their systems.... there's no rumours that chaos is in the pipeline for the next three fantasy books (which appear to be ogres, wood elves and brettonia)
