The 16th of spooky month is a go! We've also bumped the points up to 1500 given the extra time

Free parking on the Sunday. Also less competition at lunch places. Just saying...

I think I can fix it.
Edit: Thread title fixed.

Went ahead and committed to the tournament. So now I have to get off my ass and start building that big box of HH I bought. And seeing how much of my 40K first born will fit in to lists. Not to mention small details like reading the rules and getting in some practice games (eventually). Looking forward to both the work and the tournie!

Was just checking the base size for my HH figs. Marines are on 32mm. I had been hoping to bulk out my forces with my old first born. They are on 25-28mm bases. Will this be a problem?

It wouldn’t bother me at all but I can’t speak for everyone. If anything I think it would put you at a disadvantage against templates. Your marines will be closer together.

In the absence of the "big boys" replying, after 40+ years of gaming I'm reasonably certain the answer goes something like this:
1) this is a small point value, new system first tournament so no "heavy hitters" is the norm, 2) like most tournies it is common for there to be both mandatory inclusions and exclusions to lists. This one is no exception, 3) the requirement for a praetor or delegatus does not preclude you using additional HQ choices. As an example, I have an old school chaplain fig I want to use so he will be my 2nd HQ (at this point), 4) lastly, this is how the TO wants it and he is doing (almost) all the work to make this tournament possible. A little appreciation would be nice.
If I'm off-base on any of these, the TO is welcome to correct me.

I don't think Kalen wasn't being unappreciative, just asking a sincere question.
Praetors and Delegates are typically only a requirement for army building if you want to run a Right of War. If someone wants to forgo the advantages and limitations of a RoW, the Crusade force org totally allows for any other Centurion style character to be your WL.

Understood. My apologies. A good reminder for me that answering posts / emails with a major migraine is not the best idea.
