i won round 3 so im stuck with my list till the end now? I do believe so. Rules state Round 4 lists are locked for round 5 and a list is locked if it won.
Good news is you have a winning list on round 3 so hopefully a winning list for round 4 and 5.

The Astra Militarum faced off against Necrons again. However this time the Necrons brought the Heavy Guns, two monoliths, and the Silent King Himself. We brought our guns as well in the form of a Baneblade. Titanic fight, the earth will be scorched! The battle started with the Necrons aiming squarely at the Baneblade and almost destroyed it immediately. It was able to survive but was heavily crippled. That is when the Guard moved up the board to start having its presence felt. However, our guns were not able to kill anything. All we could hope for was to live long enough to burn objectives and get a little lucky, the Necrons were going to win this battle for sure but the war wasn`t over yet. The Necrons kill stuff left right and center, but the Guard are relentless and brought back 6 sentinels and 20 guardsmans throughout the battle. The Guard had more board presence and were able to hold for a little while, however, once the monoliths entered the sideboards and the Silent King in the middle, it was over for us, and for some weird reason, 75% of our vehicles EXPLODED! The Guard was unable to score secondary objectives easily while the Necrons scored big on Bring it Down and No Prisoners. The Astra Militarum fought hard but were unable to stop the forces of the Silent King.
Very low-scoring round, 38 - 65. However, it was VERY entertaining! Thank you very much for the game, always a blast!

If a team is not able to get a game done in the time alloted..... what is the result?

So the dark angle had the number of the custodes this time around. Bringing enough fire power and a good mix of combat and shooting. By turn 3 the custodes had been whittled down and couldn't keep up to the dark angles objective burning scoring them 15 by games end.
A 81-67 loss for the custodes. Losing by 14 which is the point difference of the burns.

Azrael turned to his Phobos Captain and instructed him to pull back the screen of scouts. Then he realized that it was Phobos Librarian on this mission. The Custodes surged forwards, wiping out three Scout Squads and seizing No-Mans Land. The Predator Annihilator was wounded but still alive by the Custodes hover tank.
The two Hellblaster Squads focused on the left flank Custodes Squad while the Predator Destructor moved up to block off the Alarus. The Custodes left-flank squad was resilient, but even they could not withstand the vengeful fires of twenty Hellblasters.
The hover-tank finished off the Annihilator while the Allarus charged the Predator, loosing several of their number of overwatch from Azrael's Hellblasters. They tore up the Destructor, but were now exposed. Azrael and his Hellblasters wiped out the Alarus while the Inceptors and Deathwing Knights droppped into the Custodes' backfield.
The Deathwing Knights captured the Custodes home objective and killed any opponents in the area while the remaining Custodes drove for the Dark Angels' home objective. Azrael and the Phobos Librarian clashed with the flying Custodes squad, whittling them down. A wild game. I would like to think that leaving my Scouts exposed was bait for a clever trap, but it was just a misplay that ended up working out. A very close game!

If a team is not able to get a game done in the time alloted..... what is the result? Hi Nick, depends on the reason. If one player is available and the other player is not at all, the unavailable player would take the loss. If you just can't find a mutual time that works it would be a draw.

The rather nosy Salamanders had expressed concerns about the Dark Angel's CIMIC program on an imperial world. The Dark Angels took exception to this.
The Salamanders moved up and scorched a Scout Squad while their Repulsor Executioner vaporized a Predator Destructor. The Dark Angels Hellblasters retaliated, a Fire Discipline Hellblaster squad taking down a full Infernus Squad while Azrael's squad and the Annihilator took down the Executioner.
The Salamanders Aggressors moved up to engage Azrael's Hellblasters, who cagily overwatched. This killed two Aggressors but also resulted in three Hellblasters dying. Which took them out of range of the Aggressors. The left-flank Dark Angels struck the Aggressors, Inceptors and Eradicators, killing all three. The newly arrived Deathwing Knight were now out of charge range, meaning that the Inceptors were only killed by Azrael charging them with the Hellblasters, leaving them exposed to a Salamander's own character and Company Heroes. Oh - and Dark Angels Inceptors stole the Salamander home objective.
Turn 3 saw the Salamanders striking back, killing a Scout Squad, Azrael, a Lieutenant and his Hellblasters. The later was done primarily by the Company Heroes and the Salamanders character - those heroes are not necessarily optimal but they can do work. The Dark Angels clapped back, with the surviving Hellblasters taking down a second Salamnders Inceptor Squad while the DA Inceptors killed some Eliminators. The Deathwing Knights then made their charge into the Company Heroes and character, wiping them out with righteous repugnance. Tell us how to interrogate citizens will you!
Turn 4 had both sides wobbling, with both respective left flanks having collapsed. The Predator and a the final Scout Squad died, while the Dark Angels were able to grab some good Secondaries.
Turn 5 had a climactic final battle between Deathwing Knights and Salamanders Bladeguard, with the Deathwing Knights assisted by some good Hellblasting. As the smoke cleared the Dark Angels held the field despite their heavy casualties.
A fun and fluid game. Neither of us had optimal draws for our Secondaries early on, which makes for a tense game. My Hellblasters didn't really miss Old Oath againt power armour while the Deathwing Knights were well suited for their 4++ opponents.
I wanted to go first, but as it turned out going second was better for me.
Thanks for the game!

Final game of the league in the books for the mechanicus against custodes! Game started out pretty back and forth but a failed charge early started a slow snowball in the tech priests favour. 98-57 for Cawl and the boys finishing this season of the league at 3-2! A respectable record that I really wasn’t expecting when I locked in admech. Thanks for running this again Sean! Really excited for future leagues!

We did it! Congratulations to Henry for emerging undefeated (barely) after 5 rounds. I hope everyone had a good time, got to meet some new people and played some fun games. I really appreciate everyone making an effort to get their games in and sticking with the league to the end. For the invitational tournament, details are still being worked out, Henry has kindly suggested that Tommy be his Champion and go to represent Kingston so hopefully that will work out. The winter/spring season typically runs around February to May. Which on that note, does anyone else want to take over? My wife is having a baby in February (and my baby The Old World is due then as well) so I will have less time to put into running the league. However, if no one else is able to do it, I will, you'll just have to put up with even slower pairings going up Once again thanks everyone for playing, and recruit your friends for next season. It would be great if we can grow above 16 players! P.S. Henry and Shannon did your game actually end on a tie, or did you run out of time?

The game actually ended in an insanely close tie. I got the lucky kill on a monster in the back to tie it up and Shannon barely failed to kill a dread in return to take back the lead.
On the dec.9 tourney we had almost the same situation and Shannon succeeded in killing the vindicator to take the win in poetic justice.
