Question on lists. I am trying to get my hands on a Gladiator Lancer (the one with the Laser Destroyer), but this is proving difficult. I have a Predator Annihilator. Would there be an issue with my paying the points for the Lancer, having it in my list on BCP but using my Predator Annihilator as a Predator Annihilator if I cannot get the Lancer in time? The Lancer costs 145 points while the Annihilator costs 130. So if I cannot get the Lancer I am paying a 15 point penalty to use the (less capable) Predator. I would not be proxying. I am also happy to just list the Annihilator and use the 15 points for something if this would confuse people or seem gamey. Hey Ian, I have a lancer that you can borrow, I might need it for Secret Santa. but other wise you can use it for the League.

Hey thanks for the offer - I adjusted my list between rounds and am sticking with Predators for now.
I think we are matched up this round? I am under the weather as of today, but next week looks open except for Wed.

Quick question here for round 3 / 4 for marines players specifically. With the new marines codex dropping and changing how oath of moment fundamentally works as well as changing a lot of datasheets, are marines players able to change their list / detachment?

Finished up my round 2 game vs Maxime at an incredibly close 71-73 in favor of the Guard. A desperate last stand on a burning ruin of an imperial world against an overwhelming tide of living metal. The Necron Overlord pushed his warrior unit into the centre round 1 with a nearby gohst ark providing support, but faced a blistering barrage of artillery fire. Despite resurrecting most of their initial losses, they ultimately fell to the concentrated shooting, and the middle was free for the taking going into round 2. The 2 flanking objectives quickly became tied up with warriors and immortals while the centre became a brutal warzone as warriors and scythe Lychguard battle for survial against tanks from all angles. By round 3 the game was slowly going in the Necrons favor although they were starting to lose to attrition. A Void-Dragon shard appeared to begin purging the artillery threat on the right flank and harrass nearby mechanized units, and as the centre assault crumbled, the left flank was reinforced and continued to weather oncoming storm of fire. Finally after seizing control of the centre and pulling tempting target, Maximes Guard rallied and threw everything they had onto the Necrons left flank, dealing with several returning models to beat the brick back and claim the objective. The remaining handful of Necron units were able to remove a handful more units, but ultimately failed to lay low the final Basilisks and secure needed points for Bring it down. They managed to deny a tank investigating the corner of the left flank, but couldn't stop the left flank from being reclaimed and were finally purged from the planet. A solid well fought, well earned victory to the Guard, and the Imperium as a whole, as the Necron control in the sector is eliminated for now

Man those Necrons were hard to kill, took ALL of my tanks and artillery to bring them down just to slowly win the war of attrition in Round 5!

I definitely needed to be able get the Nightbringer and Void-Dragon into combat a turn sooner, because they could've helped contest the centre and clear up your backline artillery before you could get another round of shooting off. That probably would've made a more noticeable difference in scoring, although it likely would've still been pretty close at the end
Those warrior blocks took a tonnnn of punishment at least to keep me on the objectives for the first few rounds

Henry's marines ended up taking our game 100-80 (battle ready points included) in a close fought game. He just managed to table me top of 4 and closed out the game with a perfect score after that. GG Henry

not able to change my list, although I lost my first round... thought we were only list locked if we won, or between round 4-5
am I missing something?
