Just a reminder.... even if you couldn't make it out last night, the tourney still has openings, so you can come out for the entire day, play and still get prizes! Best overall from last evening was Scott Stant -> who forever now will be known as the champion of 7th edition! Special prize was won by Tommy - Scott will paint a model of Tommy's choice! Scott will be giving this away AGAIN today!!!! (and it's a random draw - so anyone can win it!!!) .... and from what I understand that Ork battlewagon I've got still in box technically counts as one model!

Thanks for putting this together Shannon and Frank! Friday night went wonderfully, and I hope Saturday also went well. Sorry I couldn't make it out for both days.
Who were the eventual winners?

I think all of us will be learning a lot over the next few weeks as we have more games in 8th ed. It is hard to fight the old habits of 7th at times, especially with a lot of the more minor rules. Overall though, I like the feel and movement of 8th Ed and the games go quicker - especially once you get into combat with a horde!!

How many Horde units did you end up seeing? My High Elf list ended up with 3 giant units, one of which was a feasible Horde, but I'm not sold on how viable the formation is....

My ghoul horde of 60 was good... but with undead combat resolution it's hard to stay moore then 2 turns

there was a couple hordes, but not very many actually....
I think your ghoul horde backed up with the helm of commandment would have lasted a lot longer at WS7
