well i know it says 40k club championship but i was thinking if it was just the kingston gaming championship we could do two games of fantasy, warmachine and 40k. although i guess if we did that there wouldnt be a new 40k winner, for next year, but it was an idea

for this two day tourney, I'd be just sticking to 40k... that's not to say there won't be other tournies that have multiple games played (in fact there's going to be one this fall)... just not this one... it's hard enough with one game system! lol...

I think we should have a 40k club championship a fantasy one and a warmachine one each with an even number between them so mike can host some tournaments as well. (Why isn't mike on the forum?)

who says Mike isn't on the forum?
Anyhow... if the upcoming fantasy tourney is booked solid, then there's more chance of a big championship tourney... ditto for the warmachine one...

Who knows what his screen name would be, or whether he'd post. I imagine he would like to keep track of goings on in Kingston gaming.
As for multi-system tourneys, I just don't think it's feasible at this point. I'm not sure that I know anyone other than Shannon, Tommy and maybe Tom that play all the systems regularly, and a lot of people, myself included, don't even own an army for at least one of them.

Ya i don't really play fantasy but i was just thinking since the forum does all three. But ya would be hard to do since even fantasy and 40k are so different

A combined tournament wouldn't work for the reasons mentioned above by Matt.

Well just going back to the mike thing I would guess that he would post about his tournaments. You know because he runs them.

A combined tournament wouldn't work for the reasons mentioned above by Matt. Why not make it a team event. Each team consists of three players; one for each game. Though honestly the logistics for such an event might be tricky.

Another suggestion probably not going to work my way though. I think we should have it later in the year more like April. Just because I won't have hockey to interfere with the tournament.

Something I missed from Astro... but found as I was looking on their site:
"Vehicles cannot end their move on top of an objective marker.
Vehicles with the exception of skimmers/flyers cannot move over objective markers as the risk of damaging them is too great."
thoughts?
