Slight change with emphasis on boots on table, still trying a few new models / units I normally don't play with :
2k
HQ Librarian in Terminator Armor with Force Axe and Storm Shield Mephiston
Elite Priest with Jump pack, Priest with Terminator armor Chaplain with Jump pack 10 TH/SS Terminators
Troops 10 Tactical marines with Plasma gun, Missile Launcher and PW / MB on Srgt 10 Tactical marines with Plasma gun, Missile Launcher and PF on Srgt 10 Assault Marines with 2 Meltaguns, TH on Srgt
Heavy Support Dreadnought with 2 TL-Auto cannons 5 Devastators with 4 Missile Launchers
I am absolutely happy with my HQ choices, they've both proven to be extremely solid in 6th and the new psychic powers are a lot of fun- The 10 TH/SS terminators are definitely staying and I'm going to be converting some up soon with the Forgeworld BA shoulderpads... trying out the JP Chaplain and JP priest with the assault squad as the unit has seemed to die extremely easy on their own, hopefully the added characters will make the unit a bit punchier- and I'm wanting to try the two tactical squads on foot to move forward with the Terminator block for fire support, possibly using combat squads to keep the ML in the backfield near objectives with my heavy support elements.

Looks very solid Tom... interesting how 6th can allow you to make an entirely footslogging list still be incredibly dangerous....

Yeah, it looks pretty nice though I'm wondering if I should dump the chaplain for rhinos for the tactical squads and some minor upgrades here and there...
I'm also looking forward to trying out my mostly footslogging GK list somepoint in the future, will post that up in a couple minutes.

Death Star be gone! Another list trying out lots of power armor dude with as much AV 13 support walls / platforms as I can fit in : HQ Reclusiarch with Jump pack and Meltabombs Mephiston Elite 2 Priests with Jump packs Librarian Dreadnought (Divination) Librarian Dreadnought (Divination) Troops 5 Assault marines with a Flamer and Power Sword on Srgt in a Razorback with TL-LC 10 Assault marines with 2 Meltas, Meltabombs and a Power Maul on Srgt 10 Assault marines with 2 Meltas and a PF on Srgt 10 Assault marines with 2 Meltas and a TH on Srgt Heavy Support 3x Naked Predator (Just an auto cannon on top) After playing a few games it dawned on me that aside from some kind of support firepower to try to knock flyers out of the sky, my assault marines come equipped to handle most things base- Krak Grenades, Hammer of Wrath and FC from the priests help them along decently- and with the addition of the two Libby Dread support platforms (To give rerolls from Prescience and hopefully misfortune on the enemy squad) they should be able to beat face. The Predators are mostly a test to see if I like using them as mobile cover and slight support fire for the Assault marines, otherwise it's all pretty standard- Meph for me of course and I love Chaplains so hell yeah JP one to throw in a squad. Will likely put the Reclusiarch with the TH squad and a Priest with each of the other JP squads.

If your going to take naked preds for blocking, why not take Baal Preds instead? You get a TLAssCan or a Flamestorm, and for the price you would simply get 2 instead of 3. I think you will notice the preds provide rather insignificant firepower otherwise.
I also think 2 div libby dreads and a reclus is a little heavy in the support piece department. I think you'll find you'll have enough rerolls. (Plus the libby dreads ability to turn it on/off means you can get it if you get counter charged)
Obviously I see your just testing things out, seeing how they perform (The Sarge's wargear setups gave it away), personally I am going to be trying Power Sword / Melta Bomb. I don't understand why AP3 makes everyone want to try non-sword setups, AP3 your still sticking wounds to MEQs and up, and if your basic troops are in combat with termies, well, something is wrong there.

My issue is I'm mostly testing for most area covered by AV 13 with the preds, and I mean auto cannons can still do something- if it winds up being a wash or if a bunch of people bring flyers then I'll likely swap for a Stormraven or Two. I honestly just have the Reclusiarch because I like them thematically, plus the Lemartes model is bad ass. And with the setup I currently have it means 2 of them get rerolls to everything and the third gets reroll in CC on the charge which is pretty snazzy and is partly why I'm doing it this way more because I don't really have anything to handle Terminators in CC outside of the Dreads- and my shooting vs terminators is kinda lackluster.
Also the reasoning behind equipping the Sergeants differently is honestly because I want to make it a little flavorful- my favorite by far is the Power Maul of the 3 though, Concussive is just SO GOOD... AP 4 or not and yeah just figure I may as well equip each Sergeant differently for fun more then anything. I was likely going to put a sword on the Razorback squad and a Maul on the current Axe squad and call it a day, as the axe is by far the weakest of the bunch IMO.
If the preds don't work out it'll turn out like : - MB on Reclusiarch - MB on Power maul srgt, downgrade one melta to a flamer - 5 man razorback squad - 3 Predators + 2 Stormravens with TLMM and TLASC
Or
- MB on Reclusiarch - MB on powermaul Srgt, downgrade both meltas to flamers - 5 man razorback squad + Las Sponsons on all 3 Predators to actually make them respectable weapons platforms

I could definitely see the double raven version of this being very nasty, all those bloodstrike missiles and the POTMS TLMM will melt opposing flyers and vehicles, so you'd have plenty of targets for your ASM to chew on.
Also remember, you still pick your powers on your libby dreads as normal and swap out each game, Not to mention wings/shield is still a very strong combo for them imo.

like the double stormravens... seems like the strongest fliers .. survivable and makes a mess of enemy fliers.... which is going to be an important part of lists once we start seeing silly things like scythe swarm and the like.... (not saying anyone locally is going to jump on the latest netlist bandwagon... but people will get some fliers at least)

oh ya i have been thinking about double ravens since it came out. they can be loaded out in many ways. Blood angels have the blood strike missiles which are nice, and grey knights have psybolt and can take a single libby in them with shrouding. improving their cover save makes them a little more survivable but is over 100 points to give the ravens +1 might not be the best points usage

The other problem with that idea Jason is that Fliers can't claim cover unless going flat out (48"+), or they "Dive" (and hence may only snap fire), besides, just by being a flyer they are pretty survivable anyways, most things that would make mincemeat out of AV12 are greatly nerfed by being BS1. (not the mention the raven's immunity to melta)

Modified for testing this saturday :
HQ Mephiston
Elite 3 Priests with Jump pack Librarian Dread Librarian Dread
Troops 2x 10 man Assault squad with 2 flamers and Power weapon (Likely Mauls or Swords) 10 man Assault squad with 2 meltas and Power fist 10 man Assault squad with 2 meltas and Thunder Hammer
Heavy support 2 x Predator with LC sponsons
Gonna test out 40 assault marines first before purchasing the rest of the SG boxes I'd need to complete the list like so and will modify from there.

I like that list, what powers are you thinking for the dreads? and you think you might keep codex powers on mephiston? or try and go for the one that add S and T (IIRC its that one in biomancy?) or even a pyromancy one that gives a 5+ invul right?

Currently planning divination on the Dreads so they can have Prescience and hopefully Misfortune or the 4+ invul one (Cause who doesn't love dreads with 4+ invuls?). Though due to being required to pick codex powers and having the ability to swap to book powers at the start of a game they will both be Wings / Shield for codex powers.
And I've run Mephiston with codex powers in only 1 of my 6 games I've had so far of 6th edition... I'm not really sure which I'm ultimately going to stay with though with this list I think he'll be better off with codex powers as he doesn't have a fat Terminator block to trundle up the board with like in my other more footslogging oriented list. Gotta keep up with them jump packs!
