I dream of the first times, the longest memory
I speak of the first times, the oldest of us
I sing of the first times, the dawn of Darkness
In Nod, where the light of Paradise lit up the night sky
And the tears of our Sires wet the ground with blood...
I speak of the first times, the oldest of us
I sing of the first times, the dawn of Darkness
In Nod, where the light of Paradise lit up the night sky

'lo everyone.
Simply put, there's a new LARP being started this new year based on White Wolf's Vampire: the Masquerade, using the new Mind's Eye Theater rules written by By Night Studios.
Now, there's a pretty good chance that you have no idea what I'm talking about, though as gamers I'm pretty sure that you likely get the gist of it. Kingston has a pretty long history of LARPing in the World of Darkness, and a lot of us have been playing in these games for close to 20 years now, just in Kingston, among the people that you know.
And we always like new people.
So, if you're a fan of roleplaying; Vampires, or urban gothic settings in general; Simply trying new forms of roleplay; Or simply because you're bored, maybe you should check it out.
There's only one caveat, and that's that Scotty, who is taking on the project of running this game, requires everyone to be 16+ years of age.

Is the official website, there's information pertaining to the game itself; An FAQ, forums and the like. Scotty is also doing a series of character creation sessions at Nexus, the first is Jan 11th, from 1-5 or so, which fits right into our 40k days nicely.
If you have questions or the like, feel free to ask here, or PM me. Or just make an account on the site above and read, google any of the things I've mentioned above in relation to the game setting (White Wolf games, Vampire: the Masquerade, and Mind's Eye Theatre are all good places to start), and maybe we'll see you there.
PS: He's not paying me to write these things, I just like seeing new people involved with some of the vets and gamers that they don't know. Plus, Vampires are cool. Plus, screwing over other people's characters is cooler when you get to look said character in the eye as you twist the knife.
PPS: Don't worry about being shy, or generally non-social. We'll fix that. Hell, you should of seen me before I started playing the MeT games; I can assure you that it's a fantastic opportunity to grow socially. Meet new people, and surprise yourself.
