Capital City Bloodbath! Warhammer Fantasy GT in Ottawa!

Hi Guys,

I am very excited and Happy to announce the CAPITAL CITY BLOOD BATH!(CCBB) This event is presented by the Ottawa CWC gaming club as well as by CanHammer.

Registration is open. Scenarios and Comp pack will be up soon aswell. We will require pre payment in order to be registered. Payment will be $60.00 CDN.

As this is our first event of this size we will only have 60 spots available.

Tournament Details:
- August 23rd and 24th
- 6 Games of 2400pt Warhamner Fantasy Battles
- 4 games on the Saturday and 2 Games on the Sunday
- Lunch will Be Provided both days
- Tourney pack will be released soon.

So this is a completely uncomped tournament then?

As far as army composition goes yes it is uncomped. We are looking at a few brb rules and might have a few tweaks but it would be nothing game changing (ex. Max unit size in a building )

Looking like it will be a great tourney Chris I've added a tourney website link to the initial post. Haven't been to a tournament in ages so I am hoping the stars align to let me go to this one.

First three scenarios look good and I'm especially glad to see the VP modifications a la 7th edition! Nice modification to the random deployment scenario of the BRB that makes it much more reasonable. I also agree with what was posted on the other forum for 9-9 time instead of 10-10. The real question for me is can I get my army painted in time for the event...

Chris and i have talked about that and we will probably change it to 9-9. I would still hope that if slow play was going on that someone would call one of us over before it got to that point.

Are special characters allowed? I assume they are since there is no mention of them in the players pack, but figure I would ask just in case.

We have changed registration up a bit. If you are interested in coming but cannot pay right now, send us an email and let us know. We will put your name on the registration list and you can work out payment wih us later. This way we can have an idea on interest and have numbers that we can give to the catering people at the hotel. Hope to see some of you guys there!
