did you and he sign up? If so why not try and recruit a couple others to your team so you can be guarenteed a spot, especially if he's coming all the way from Toronto!!!!

League of Ultimate Evil has Kerry and Tommy as the final two
As for Ray I don't know what to say... this is two years in a row, we're going to have to start calling this the Ray-bails tourney soon....
We really, really need a sixth team to make things even guys!

Just a clarification, given the tourney is in a couple weeks and I've had a few questions sent my way. - There are no Lords of War permitted at this tourney - at 1k it's just too much for people to be expected to deal with. I realize Stompas are cool. I also realize Revanent titans are not. So for this one it's just a blanket ban. - You can make your list using any legal option / combination you like as per the 7th edition ruleset. Inquisition detachment is fair game, as is the knights codex as these are all legal options. If you want to have an allied list within your 1k that's a legal list option so go ahead, so long as you meet all the minimum requirements within that 1k list. If it's in the rules it's in the rules. If you're bringing forgeworld you need to have a copy of the rules for the unit. You cannot just expect your opponents to know what the forgeworld unit does (most do not) and take your word for it. - Unbound armies are on a case by case basis. They will only be permitted with prior approval. Prior approval doesn't mean 10 minutes before the tourney starts. It means you MUST message me your list or have a conversation with me in person way beforehand (like this week sometime) explaining your list, the rationale behind it and fluff etc. One person (Chris) has done this and his idea and execution are awesome and fun so it's been approved. This is NOT a powergaming option and any such list will be refused. You'll have a better chance getting it approved if it's underpowered than overpowered. Any unbound list will of course follow the rules in the main rulebook - no objective secured units and no rerolling warlord traits. - This brings me to the warlord. When you are paired up you have two 1k lists per side, however you have only ONE warlord to act for your team. Your pick, choose which one you want, roll their trait as per the rulebook (or if they have one they must take it's that one obviously). Slay the warlord is in effect all six games, so your opponents need to know who'll they'll be gunning for

I'm assuming warlord traits that come with non-Warlords do not function? What about traits that give extra VPs? I know they were disallowed in the past, and given that I'll probably use Khan, it's somewhat important to me.

can't really remember but didn't I say last team tourney that the extra VP counts towards primary objective VP?
I know with the club championship I said no to the extra VP's because they're a set value for each mission, but the book missions have Primary = X points plus the three secondary
and you use the warlord trait for your team's warlord only.

So we've got five teams signed up and five days to go...
would be really awesome to get a sixth team for this one guys... it makes the "civil war" no longer a necessity... even if you have one or two other people we can accomodate I'm sure (having someone run a 2k list like last year)... so If you're planning on attending please let Nexus know...
This one is kind of a major pain to organize day of, so the more we know ahead of time the better!

Yes, what Shannon said. Except that he is incorrect. So far we've got ONE team signed up. Four more teams have talked about coming, but I don't believe them until they show up. We might have to cancel due to lack of interest. Please people. This tournament is the worst to organize. Last year we had two people randomly not show up on the day of after saying they were coming. That meant that two teams didn't have enough people to play. Yes, the day was saved in the end, but the point of a team tournament is to play as a team. We don't want to have Tom or Justin or anyone else play by themselves. It's not fair to the person who has to play by themselves, or to anyone else they have to play against, or to the rest of their team. It's not that hard to register. You know how it's done. Magic guys do it all the time. X-Wing players from out of town do it. I'm not trying to be a horrible person that takes your money. But from our perspective, words are cheap. We've had it happen way too many times that a person says they will show up, and they don't. Pre-registering (i.e. paying in advance) is a way of showing us that you're committed to the tournament. Not pre-registering means: - best case scenario: the tournament starts late because this tournament requires a lot of organization and it will take more time to get started, which means you get less play time.
- probable scenario: the wrong number of people show up. we have an odd number of teams so one team has to do civil war. we have 3-player or 2-player teams, and people are disappointed because their team members let them down. Don't be that guy.
- worst case scenario: you don't get to play, either because you're not on a team or the tournament had to be cancelled
So please, please, pre-register!

matchups are done to accomodate four, five or six teams... I don't think I'll need to prepare for seven... but you never know, just to be safe...
scenarios are printed and at nexus as well as the scoring sheets... I'm prepared for the inevitable chaos...lol...

When Aliens Attack is actually full we do have a 4th player and we are all signed up. Sorry for any confusion that lead too.

I literally can't get to the store while it's open to prepay this week, but you can guarantee I'll be there. Plus Shannon knows where I live and I'm on his team, so he'll drag me there if I sleep in.

I've got the last member of my team here....he'll probably pay tomorrow, but if not, I've got him with me, so he'll be there too. I paid yesterday if it hasn't updated, so you've got my money regardless.

Just one of my frequent last minute reminders... please pre-register if at all possible so tomorrow morning is less of a nightmare for me... thanks oh and if you signed up and didn't pay yet, please show up... early... I need to get that first game rolling right at 9:30... as in dice rolling at 9:30... if I'm still struggling to figure out the team situation at that point it will delay start time, which means delaying everyone else who showed up, so don't be that guy k? If everyone aims for right around 9 AM to be there when the doors open we can hopefully sort this all out within a half hour... also... please team captains - I am going to rely on you to be fact checking your teams' lists day of. If I get complaints of inaccurate lists etc. I'm going to be asking the team captain what's going on in addition to the player themselves... with great power comes great responsibility. This is mainly because you seriously don't want me trying to figure out matchups, teams, tables, setting up tables AND fact checking 20-30 lists the day of.... we'll never get rolling on time that way! this tourney is the most labour intensive to organize so we NEED to be extremely streamlined and efficient for this to work.
