For the secondary objectives regarding your highest OS unit if there are two units of the same value do you nominate one at the beginning of the game for that objective?

Interesting observation regarding Crash Site Recovery:
Some interesting negotiations regarding the pilot may occur during the game if:
-the pilot is unclaimed and unable to be claimed by either player -the losing player's highest point unit is about to be destroyed/losing player is holding no crates.
the losing player may engage in negotiations, asking for his highest point unit not killed, or be granted one crate, as to avoid the prices for failure. in exchange, he promises to not shoot the pilot
if he shoots the pilot: both players lose 1 point
if he spares the pilot and strikes the deal: winning player does not lose point, and the losing player avoids losing 1 or 2 points
very situational scenario, but just an interesting thought.

Question on Tomb Raider, it says 3 Force Org selections can be deployed. Do Fortifications count against that as they are immobile? Or would it magically appear at your board edge when it arrives from reserves?
The above question applies to any of the missions where you can only select certain unit types, like troops only on tomb raider/crash site recovery.
Another question, Sink the Titan; can you change the kill points to D3? I remember last year if anyone suicided a unit into the titan and killed it, it was basically impossible to win because they had just gained X number of kill points.

Fortification is a force org selection, so if you are using a fortification it would need to be one of your choices... if you do not deploy it, it stays off the board, cuz bastions don't move or deep strike... so choose wisely On any mission that makes you choose a unit, fortification would count - ie: crash site recovery, it can count as one of them. It's not specified but it makes sense in my head at least. I'll update the mission pack Will look at sink the titan further... thanks

no, that's not what I meant... you can include your fortification as one of the troop selections...
ie: the wording of crash site recovery is being changed to something along the lines of:
You can deploy 1 troop and 0-1 fortifications, additionally any other troop unit.
fortifications will have to be deployed along with any other FOC included because they have to be deployed. On a mission that says you can deploy any THREE FOC choices, you'll just have to include the fortification as one of those selections.

Compliation of questions regarding missions:
xeno raid
In terms of the "spooked" rule, are fearless units affected?
Daemon world:
In terms of +1 to hit and wound, is it to a cap of 2+, or are BS5 models treated as BS6?
How does this interact with poison, sniper, etc?
For warp shift, does the owner of the unit choose where it deep strikes, or whoever chosen it?
For Treachery of tzeench, can the mind controlled unit be ordered to assault units from both parties? and if it can fight a former friend, what happens once the mind control runs out?
For plague of rust, if a unit has the rule of stealth(forest), and the cover of all forests have been reduced to nothing, would the unit still gain a 6+ in forests? similarly, if it comes up 3 times and the aegis defence line now grants no cover, would a unit going to ground behind it still gain a +2 instead of the regular +1 as per the ADL rules?
Search Party:
it states that a crate can only be claimed if a unit ends movement next to it. does this imply that if a unit runs or consolidates onto it, it does not count as scoring the crate?
Hammer and Ambull:
does it count as the ambulls destroying a unit if the unit flees off the board resulting from an ambull assault?
Grot Mart
If an independent character is a part of a unit which makes a deal, does the independent character still count as friendly after it leaves the unit? and if it joins another one does that new unit now count as friendly to jippy for the duration that the IC is in there?
Truck Stop:
it says the crates can be handed into transports, what about buildings?
Crash Site:
When it says that after defeating the pilot it is treated "like a supply crate", does this mean that he can be locked inside transports/buildings?
in order to protect the pilot, can Look Out Sir orders be made to protect the pilot?
Voidspan
Can FNP saves be taken against the dangerous terrain tests created by jumping?
Zombie Apoc
same as HAA, if zombies cause a unit to run off the board, is it considered to have been killed by the zombie?

yes +1 just like it says so BS7 becomes BS8 it doesn't owner chooses you get to control the unit... do whatever you want if cover gives no cover than it's treated as open ground if you have to end your movement next to an objective you end your movement - run does NOT count yes if the IC is on his own he counts as having made a deal.. the other unit hasn't made a deal so doesn't count no, it can't go into buildings, it says transports. he can go into a transport the pilot cannot look out sir yes, FNP is not a save yes, if a zombie makes you run off a board it destroyed you

In connection to the Treachery of Tzeentch question above - what happens if the control runs out and the unit is in combat with a friendly. Do they just break off?

yep they break off as you cannot remain in combat with a friendly unit.
