ahh ok. i thought so about the heralds and preds but was unsure about rhinos and razorbacks as the different between a razorback and a rhino is similar to the difference between a landraider and a landraider crusader. but not the same in that the landraiders are both called landraider lol

yeah Rhinos and Razorbacks are fairly different with armnament, transport capacity, cost, etc. so they'd be distinct I think.

Taken from Highlander ruleset... thought it'd be important to point out because of tyranids and daemons:
Special Rules which are used to create new Units during the game must adhere to at least the spirit of the Highlander and do so as follows:
1. Units which are Troop Units are not subject to this rule.
a. However, Troop units are still subject to the limitation of a maximum of 3 as per Rule #2.
2. You cannot create a new Unit which would otherwise violate the 0-1 restriction on a Unit in the game.
a. You cannot therefore create a new Unit that would duplicate a Unit already in your army.
b. You cannot therefore create a new Unit that would duplicate a Unit that you already previously created.
c. Doesn’t matter if the Unit you are creating would duplicate a Unit that was already removed from play earlier in the game. You still can’t duplicate it.
d. Stop trying to create duplicate units, already.

IE - Play the system and have fun with it, don't spend your time trying to figure out how to break it to get an advantage.

yes... exactly...
I'm trying to circumvent some of the pitfalls and potential arguments:
ie: "I have a tervigon who's making as many troops as I can"
ie: "I have a summoning factory who's making units of horrors who are making more horrors etc."

Pffft, just summon Daemonettes... then Bloodletters... then Horrors... then Plaguebearers... Then start over (cause they're troops)

yes, you certainly can... so long as you don't duplicate

You can summon one of each but the rule says you can't duplicate previous summons

Am I aloud to take two different types of assassins? Or do I have to choose one?
