what about things that are free but normally cost points? im thinking of my angels fury spearhead formation the seargents get free teleport homers but the new space marines can take free vehicles in a demi company can't they?
they could have one model that cost 25 points, and 300 points of free vehicles

the homer is part of the sarge so it's there as long as he's alive.
the vehicles are part of the demi company, so they count as "points left on the board" after round one as they still are affecting the game after all and we want match ups to be fair. Can't go... well I have 800 points left but 300 is free so I want to play someone who has only 500 points. so yeah, no dice. You total up points left on the board and that's what pairs you up for the next round.

ok awesome, thats what i thought but wanted to make sure.
also so it is possible, although very unlikly if someone did bring the free vehicles to have more then 2000 points going into round two (im not bringing vanilla so i dont mean me but im mean in general)

it doesn't matter how many points you have going into round two... you're matched to your opponent based on how many points THEY have remaining...
so if you have 2450 points after game one (ie: you stomped me flat and lost a couple ork boyz in the process) you are facing someone else who has very high points (it won't be exact of course) while I have a 500 point game vs. someone else who also got wrecked round one to make it fair.
The score sheet will be simple
Round: Your Name: Your Opponent's name: I have ___________ points remaining of my army

so if we're at odd numbers and I don't get to play I guess I know who to blame? I'll take a bye first round. Totally innocently and not that I get my full 2500 point army second round o:) Sent from my SGH-I337M using proboards

best thing about death company in army builder, is that since they can all have a different load out if you want they are all on there separately.
