i really havn't played much, and i really would be feilding everything i have in my army if i was doing a 2000 point ish game. that said i also dont really know what is the best stuff for my army i just like certain units ether for what they do or for a theme or just like the way they look. I play tau and i just feild fire warriors, crissis suits, boardsides, devil fish and a hammerhead, with a couple shiled drones in there. I have no idea what kind of comp score that would actualy get me
Edit.
I just did up the comp with the site the other guy linked to on my list (everything i have right now) and for 2000 points and mine would be about 50 also if im doing it correctly

Also, comp needs to be judged as impartially as possible. If the TO or judges are going to play in the tournament than it is best to have either no/minimal comp at all or any comp scoring system clearly laid out well before the tourney (like those tables of points some of you have provided). The comp scoring system should be presented and refined by the local community to avoid, as much as possible, any perception of bias because the judges would be looking at comp through the eyes of a player with their own list. With comp being so subjective it is critical to minimize any perceptions of bias that can unintentionally occur and may cause some players to not say anything but avoid coming to the tourney.
