Well we haven't decided yet we will when we get enough people together and see what works best for everyone. If you can get yourself the hand book that would be amazing but as far as I know you don't need the Pathfinders player hand book. But if you have anymore question just make an account on the Kingston Nexus site and post your question in the thread in the link i posted

I am the prospective DM for the Pathfinder game. I thought I would give a few precisions.
1) You don't need any books to join the game. If players have one, that's great, but there's no such requirement made of anyone except me. Keep in mind that if you play a magic user, you can't exepct me to hand ove rmy book every five minutes for you to look up a spell.
2) About the time, since they are closing at 10:00 down at Nexus on Thursdays, I was thinking of starting around 6 or 6:30 every Thursday, which gives us a solid three hours of weekly gaming. Nothin is set in stone however. We can discuss what's the best time for everyone.
3) If possible, I'd like to make characters this coming Thursday (the 11th) to get the ball rolling.
And we can also discuss whether you guys prefer to play a published campaing or a made-up one.

Ah ok well how much expirience do you have DMing? If not alot then it would be alot easyer to use a pre made one. Also I'll probly get my self the hand book if they have one at the nexus so it will help out more to have 2 books on the table. OH! Are there any House rules you use? or will we set them this comming thursday?

I am 34 at the moment and have been DMing for over 15 years. I DMed Call of Cthulhu for a long time, and also 3.0 and 3.5 when they came out respectively, as well as a whole lot of other games. I haven't DMed Pathfinder yet, but it's essentially 3.5 on steroids, so to speak. So I'm familiar with the rules. As fa a house rules go, we'll talk about it, but I can't see anything special. For starters, we'll only use the basic classes (and prestige classes) from the core rulebook, but I'm open to the idea of using the extra ones from the Advanced Player Guide eventually. I'm hoping some players will have miniatures. While I don't want to focus too much on tactical combat. Miniatures are a fun aspect of the game IMHO. See you on Thursday

Still looking for 1 more? I'm an experienced player but I'm curious what setting and/or campaign background is available?

We'll be playing in the official Pathfinder setting, and we're playing a published adventure path with some add-ons to pad things up a bit.
At the moment, we have a Cleric and a Rogue.
