Please PLEASE PLEASE don't mangle this CA. I've wanted this game to exist since I first realized that Total War was a thing.

This is pretty much the contender to cure my Diablo3 addiction... well maybe add to my addiction rather than cure it lol....

oh yeah... they've been doing patches and expansions... adventure mode is particularly addictive... set gear bonuses and level cap greatly increased

This was the game that was one of the main reasons I had to buy a new computer (that and XP losing support)
Really hoping it meets the normal TW standards as well as holding to the Warhammer universe

Note that that's "in engine" and not gameplay so there's no AI yet, but I really like the look of the animations they're working with so far, like the orcs closing in on the empire lines in particular. I'm still cautiously excited though, I love huge fantasy armies clashing and this time I don't have to paint a million pounds of plastic models

So, anyone playing this? Thoughts? I'm quite enjoying it thusfar, though it makes my heart ache for the grand days of mid-7th edition quite badly.

I've only played maybe 10 turns of the Empire campaign since I've been playing BFG:Armada to try and finish it first.
What I have played so far I've liked. I've also watched some of the battle videos the developers have been posting on YouTube

For anyone who's interested, Humble Bundle's monthly $12 subscription this month (ends March 3rd) includes Total War Warhammer plus $100 in "mystery" games.
considering the game is still selling for $59.99 I figured it was an easy choice! (downloading now)

Its a blast for sure but suffers from end game boredom like most Total War games (Im an avid series fan). This title exasperates it a bit, as settlement construction options are rather limited. I have all the DLC and have played through completion with Empire, Dwarfs and Wood Elves. I am today trying to finish my current painting project as with the Brettonia free DLC dropping tomorrow, I will be throwing myself back in. Brettonia has long been my favourite Warhammer race, and I do like cavalry charges...
